In August, the first TCR-T therapy received global regulatory approval for market launch, marking one of the most iconic milestones in the field of cell therapy and reigniting widespread attention across various sectors. As one of the industries with immense growth potential within the biopharmaceutical sector, cell therapy faces urgent challenges that require breakthroughs, particularly in accelerating clinical application and commercialization.

As the central city of the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region and a key hub for China’s biomedical industry, Beijing is home to numerous industry-leading enterprises, biomedical industrial parks, and abundant clinical resources. It ranks at the forefront nationwide in both innovative resources and platform development. In May this year, Beijing issued policies such as the *Beijing Action Plan for Accelerating Collaborative Innovation in Medicine and Health (2024–2026)*, which extensively addresses research into technologies like cell and gene therapy and synthetic biology. These policy measures aim to support the quality improvement and efficiency enhancement of the cell therapy and synthetic biology industries.

As a premier event in the field of cell biology, the 11th CBIC Cell Biology Industry Conference and the 9th China Biopharmaceutical Innovation and Cooperation Conference, jointly organized by the China Anti-Aging Promotion Association and Zhenghe Exhibition Group, will once again take place in the capital on November 14–15. The event will feature the SBIC Synthetic Biology Industry Conference, focusing on the application of synthetic biology technologies in medicine and healthcare, and will integrate resources across industry, academia, research, clinical practice, and investment in the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region to create an information hub for industrial collaboration and exchange.

This conference is expected to attract over 3,000 industry professionals for in-depth participation. Hundreds of industry pioneers will deliver comprehensive insights centered on cell therapies, organoids, stem cells, anti-aging and regenerative medicine, extracellular vesicles, and synthetic biology technologies. They will explore hot topics such as regulatory approval, CMC and process development, clinical applications, commercial management, and laws and regulations. Led by representatives from Tsinghua University, Peking University Cancer Hospital, Capital Medical University, Peking Union Medical College Hospital, and the Chinese Academy of Sciences, attendees will share the latest research directions, analyze industry development trends, and break down industry barriers to promote the translation and implementation of new biopharmaceutical technologies and achievements.

Furthermore, this conference will provide a significant opportunity for enterprises to connect with resources across the entire industry chain. At the event, several well-known companies, including Keyence, Enzekangtai, Saicun Biology, Shanghai Shengyue, Guangzhou Shipu Optoelectronics, and Purui Biotechnology, will centrally showcase technologies and products related to cell therapy and synthetic biology. These exhibits will cover CDMO and CRO services, laboratory consumables, equipment, animal models, testing services, cold-chain logistics, raw material supply, biopharmaceutical industrial parks, genetic engineering, and synthetic drug development outcomes. The exhibition will establish a one-stop platform for academic exchange, outcome demonstration, and business collaboration, thereby enhancing the brand awareness and influence of participating enterprises, uncovering drivers of industry innovation, optimizing new production formats, and promoting the clustered and high-quality development of the cell therapy and synthetic biology industries.
