This case report describes the combined treatment of multifocal hepatic tumors using ultrasound-guided microwave ablation and body gamma knife radiosurgery. By integrating these two modalities to leverage their respective advantages, this approach maximizes the preservation of liver function while enhancing therapeutic efficacy. It demonstrates a high tumor control rate and favorable safety profile, thereby improving patients' quality of life.

In the new era of high-quality hospital development, minimally invasive medical technology has played a crucial role in improving therapeutic efficacy, enhancing patient safety, reducing complications, and improving patients’ quality of life. General Healthcare 363 Hospital has consistently upheld its cultural spirit of heritage, responsibility, innovation, and progress, continuously striving to advance and improve the quality management of medical technologies. The hospital has developed distinctive strengths particularly in minimally invasive and non-invasive precise diagnosis and treatment. This award serves as an affirmation and recognition of our hospital’s level of quality management in minimally invasive medical technology. This typical case project is a microcosm of the successful practice of the hospital’s multidisciplinary team (MDT) diagnosis and treatment model.

Sanliusan Hospital will continue to prioritize the development of disciplinary clusters, adopting a patient-centered multidisciplinary team (MDT) model. By breaking down disciplinary barriers, integrating specialized strengths, and establishing an interdisciplinary collaborative diagnosis and treatment platform, we aim to provide patients with more comprehensive and personalized treatment plans. We firmly believe that the continuous deepening and broader adoption of this minimally invasive integrated diagnostic and therapeutic model will bring significant benefits to a greater number of patients.
