At the opening ceremony of the Third Belt and Road Forum for International Cooperation held in 2023, the Global Digital Trade Expo (hereinafter referred to as the “Digital Trade Expo”) was elevated to a major national strategic exhibition. It is China’s only national-level, global professional expo dedicated to digital trade, holding the same stature as other exhibitions critical to China’s major strategies, such as the China International Import Expo (CIIE), the Canton Fair, and the China International Fair for Trade in Services (CIFTIS).

 

In recent years, the global digital health industry has surged, with digital transformation in healthcare becoming an irreversible trend. Rapid advancements in new technologies such as 5G, artificial intelligence (AI), and big data have also become core components of digital trade. As a key driver of the technological revolution in the health sector, digital health is reshaping the global healthcare landscape. Facilitating high-level collaboration among medical institutions, industries, academia, and research entities to promote the development of globally influential digital health trade has become one of the important missions of the Global Digital Trade Expo.

 

Building on this, the Digital Trade Expo introduced a new “Digital Healthcare” theme in 2024, focusing on the hotspots and frontiers of R&D and practical applications in digitally enabled, intelligent diagnostic and therapeutic innovations.September 25–26Organize and host the “Digital Health Industry Matchmaking Conference and Related Activities” (hereinafter referred to as the “Matchmaking Conference”) under the theme of “Digital Healthcare, Global Sharing.”

 

At the Digital Healthcare Section of this Global Digital Trade Fair, the focus is on driving the digital healthcare industry toward greater efficiency, intelligence, security, and globalization. By showcasing the latest and most innovative technologies and products in global digital healthcare, we aim to promote safe and effective digital healthcare products and services that better serve patients worldwide, accelerate the improvement of quality and global market competitiveness in China’s digital healthcare sector, and establish a high-end, professional, convenient, and effective new trade platform for global digital healthcare products and services. A key emphasis is placed on building a brand characterized by “specialization, internationalization, digitalization, and full-chain integration.”

 

Specifically, the Digital Healthcare segment of this Global Digital Trade Expo adopted a “Three-One” activity model, comprising: hosting one Digital Healthcare Industry Matchmaking Conference, establishing one Professional Committee on the Digital Healthcare Industry, and setting up one Digital Healthcare Industry Exhibition Pavilion. This initiative aims to build a globally influential digital healthcare trade fair, facilitate the reshaping of the healthcare industry landscape through digital healthcare, and drive the technological revolution in the global health sector.
