Kantar BrandZ is hailed as the “Oscars” of the global branding world and serves as an authoritative guide to brand value. Since 1998, it has surveyed more than 4.3 million consumers across 54 markets worldwide, generating over 5.5 billion data points across 532 categories. The Kantar BrandZ Top 100 Most Valuable Chinese Brands list is derived using a “two-step brand valuation methodology,” which multiplies the “financial value” created by a brand by the “brand contribution” obtained from consumer surveys, while comprehensively considering three key attributes—“Meaningful,” “Different,” and “Salient”—to arrive at the final “brand value.”
As an internationally leading medical AI platform, WeDoctor has always been committed to empowering key participants across the healthcare value chain and enhancing the efficiency of the healthcare industry, driven by innovative models and cutting-edge digital-intelligence technologies. Its robust business ecosystem is built upon a foundation of digital-intelligence capabilities and comprises six major business segments: the Digital Health Community, San-Yi-Lian Technology, Bianque Traditional Chinese Medicine, as well as the Healthcare Industry Fund, the Health Management Academy, and the Digital-Intelligence Health Center.
By leveraging digital and intelligent empowerment and relying on the “Smart Hospitals” established in multiple cities across China, WeDoctor co-builds Digital Health Communities with large hospitals and primary care institutions on a city-by-city basis. It collaborates with medical insurance and commercial insurance providers to implement a payment model transition from fee-for-service to pay-for-performance for specific diseases. This approach alleviates pressure on large hospitals, enhances the capabilities of primary care institutions, and improves the efficiency of medical insurance funds. The WeDoctor Digital Health Community is China’s first Accountable Care Organization (ACO) managing over one million members.
The report highlights that the rise of technologies such as artificial intelligence (AI) has accelerated the iteration of global business models, making it an inevitable trend for brands to leverage AI to reduce costs and enhance efficiency. In recent years, WeDoctor has leveraged its technological advantages and accumulated medical resources to closely align with national strategies, supporting various regions in transitioning their healthcare service models from “disease-centered” to “health-centered.” Currently, WeDoctor has facilitated the implementation of Digital Health Communities in multiple provinces and cities, including Tianjin and Shandong. Additionally, in collaboration with Shanghai Ruijin Hospital, it has established a “Six-Disease Co-Management” Center covering the entire lifecycle, creating a full-process diagnosis and treatment system and a multidisciplinary treatment model for six major disease categories, including oncology and metabolic disorders. This model was first implemented in Sanming, Fujian. Recently, building on its mature and comprehensive AI product suite, WeDoctor upgraded and launched China’s first AI-powered hospital in Shanghai, once again leading the industry’s upgrade and development trends.
WeDoctor’s growth trajectory mirrors the development of China’s digital health industry. Since establishing China’s first internet hospital in 2015, exploring the Digital Health Community model in 2019, and progressively upgrading internet hospitals to smart hospitals in 2021, WeDoctor has continuously deepened its engagement through the 1.0 Internet Hospital, 2.0 Digital Health Community, and 3.0 AI Hospital stages, consistently leading industry transformation. These practical initiatives not only highlight WeDoctor’s leadership in technological innovation but also signal that future healthcare services will become more precise, efficient, inclusive, and accessible.
Brand influence is a comprehensive reflection of a company’s core and extended influence, representing the elevation and most concentrated manifestation of its corporate influence at a higher level. WeDoctor’s second appearance on the list, accompanied by a rise in ranking, undoubtedly affirms its years of dedicated cultivation and continuous innovation in the field of digital-intelligent healthcare. Looking ahead, against the backdrop of the state’s vigorous promotion of the deep integration of artificial intelligence with healthcare, WeDoctor is poised to continue leading industry trends and delivering higher-quality, more efficient medical and health services to the public.
