The signing ceremony was successfully held in the presence of leaders including Yao Jun, President of the Chinese Health Management Association; Hao Yanyan, Executive Vice President and Party Secretary; Li Ming, Vice President; Liao Jieyuan, Chairman of WeDoctor Group; Wang Baoning, Chairman of Yihuatong Investment Group and Executive Director of WeDoctor Group; and Peng Tao, Executive Director of WeDoctor Investment and Executive Director of Zhongjiangu. Zhou Hua, Vice President and Secretary-General of the Chinese Health Management Association, and Zhang Jun, President of WeDoctor Holdings, signed the agreement on behalf of their respective parties.

The “Healthy China 2030” Planning Outline elevates “Healthy China” to a national strategy and explicitly puts forward the development concept of “putting people’s health at the center.” In response to the persistent health disparities between urban and rural areas and across regions, as well as health inequities among different social groups in China, the country requires an accurate understanding of the position and role of health and hygiene in achieving common prosperity. The “Opinions of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China and the State Council on Supporting Zhejiang in High-Quality Development and Building a Demonstration Zone for Common Prosperity” emphasize the need to accelerate the construction of a robust public health system, deepen the development of county-level medical communities and urban medical consortia, and promote the balanced distribution of high-quality medical resources.

To narrow the urban-rural gap and achieve high-quality, shared health services. Under the agreement, both parties will engage in deep cooperation across multiple fields, including exploring innovative models of “Common Health” and “Inclusive Health” within the context of “Common Prosperity,” drawing on and promoting the experience of Tianjin’s Digital Health Community to establish new national demonstration zones for Digital Health Communities; leveraging the Association’s extensive resources to support the innovative development of Hainan Health Management College under WeDoctor, exploring the enhancement of industry standards for majors such as health management, jointly establishing talent training bases in the health sector, and co-developing academic disciplines and specialties. Furthermore, both parties will jointly build a national digital health service platform and collaborate on health science popularization and academic exchanges, striving to advance the cause of public health.

As a globally leading digital health platform, WeDoctor pioneered and implemented the Digital Health Community model in the industry. Leveraging AI and other digital-intelligent technologies as its engine, medical insurance payment as a lever, and a health accountability system as its driver, this model successfully integrates the capabilities of healthcare delivery, medical insurance, and pharmaceuticals (“the three medicines”). It has achieved a win-win outcome for multiple stakeholders, including enrolled residents, healthcare providers, medical insurance payers, and enterprise platforms. The Digital Health Community model has received strong promotion at the national level. Recently, the National Health Commission held a press conference to promote the experience of the Sanming Medical Reform, with the next key priority being the elevation of “Medical Communities” to “Health Communities.”

The Chinese Health Management Association is the first national-level association in China’s health management sector. Guided by its mission to “implement comprehensive health management and build a Healthy China for all,” the Association is committed to establishing a “Five-All” smart health management system characterized by “benefits for the entire population, round-the-clock monitoring, full-lifecycle intervention, all-around control, and all-factor innovation.” The Association has achieved remarkable results in promoting public health, launching multiple health promotion initiatives and issuing numerous group standards for health services.

Chairman Liao Jieyuan stated that WeDoctor will fully leverage the advantages of its digital-intelligence platform, driven by the dual engines of “mechanism innovation + AI empowerment,” to provide a “one-click replicable” upgrade solution for medical consortia across China. The company will continue to explore and develop cost-effective healthcare service models, promoting the standardization, normalization, and intelligent development of health management services, thereby ensuring that high-quality medical resources benefit everyone.

President Yao Jun fully affirmed WeDoctor Group’s pioneering work and outstanding achievements in serving public health and medical care in recent years. He expressed his hope that, in the future, WeDoctor will further strengthen its collaboration with the Chinese Health Management Association to jointly promote national health management. By leveraging their respective strengths, integrating resources, and pursuing innovation, both parties aim to make greater contributions to meeting the diverse and multi-level health needs of the people and advancing the “Healthy China” initiative.
