How is the course structured, and can individuals without a medical background understand it?

This program consists of nine major modules, with each module comprising three days of coursework (Friday to Sunday). Classes commence in October 2024, and the program duration is 1.5 years.

The curriculum primarily focuses on industrial development. While ensuring professional rigor, it strives to be grounded in industry practice, analyzing industrial trends and directions. Even without a medical background, participants can gain a panoramic insight into the expansion paths and implementation solutions in the broader health sector through learning and exchange, thereby seizing early-mover advantages.

What other activities are scheduled besides classroom lectures?

In addition to classroom lectures, each module of the program features engaging activities such as the “Most Healing Evening” frontier clinical night talks or “Into the Laboratory” sessions. The program also periodically organizes the student co-created “Pilot Whale Forum” and mobile classroom initiatives that include in-depth corporate visits, on-site research at benchmark enterprises, and listening to insights shared by entrepreneurs.

Through three phases of development, the program has assembled a cohort of over 100 leading industry entrepreneurs, extensively covering sectors such as pharmaceuticals, medical devices, investment, health management, pharmaceutical distribution, CROs, and smart healthcare. These participants are chairmen, founders, and core executives from high-quality enterprises across various segments of the medical and healthcare industry chain.

Irregular online and offline alumni activities will enhance interconnectivity and interaction among alumni, including the Pilot Whale Forum, the "Three Begets All Things" Forum, private visits to student-run enterprises, as well as cross-program and cross-cohort alumni events.
