The theme of this year's annual conference is "Targeting Provider Wellness for Exceptional Patient Care”, as stated by Conference Chair Professor Howard Sanler: “I hope this theme, which has run throughout the conference, will stimulate discussion on how to achieve a healthy balance between work, family, and personal life, thereby improving treatment outcomes for (oncology) patients.”As an innovative leader in the field of precision oncology treatment in China and globally, PVmed has officially launched the “Intelligent Multidisciplinary Team (AI-MDT) Treatment Solution for Cancer,” following nearly three years of dedicated research and continuous exploration.

Innovative Solutions Earn Widespread Acclaim, Chinese Brands Gain Recognition

PVmed’s AI-Enabled Multidisciplinary Team (AI-MDT) Solution for Oncology leverages cutting-edge artificial intelligence and image analysis technologies to enhance two major oncological interventions: radiation therapy and surgical treatment. Covering the entire workflow—from tumor screening, automatic delineation of radiation targets, and multimodal image fusion, to preoperative surgical planning, intraoperative navigation, and postoperative follow-up—the solution provides intelligent support and closed-loop services for the integrated multidisciplinary management of radiation and surgical oncology.During the four-day exhibition, this solution garnered widespread attention, attracting numerous domestic and international experts to observe demonstrations and personally experience the product, ultimately earning high acclaim.

This suite not only includes the four flagship products of AI-MDT, which boast exceptional performance:

PV-iCurve Pro: Automatic Delineation System for Radiotherapy Target Volumes

PV-iDose: Intelligent Analysis System for Radiotherapy Dose

PV-iCAD: Intelligent Auxiliary Diagnostic System

PV-iVision: Intelligent Surgical Assistance Planning System

PV-iFusion: Developed specifically to meet the needs of multimodal image registration and fusion, PV-iFusion holds significant importance in clinical applications for radiotherapy target delineation and treatment. It enables users to precisely define organ and target contours by integrating multimodal imaging data. PV-iFusion provides intelligent image registration tools that perform one-click rigid and deformable registration across CT-CT, CT-CBCT, CT-Spectral CT, CT-MRI, and MRI-MRI modalities, while also supporting manual fine-tuning by users. Additionally, users can adjust various algorithm parameters to optimize fusion performance. Beyond utilizing image grayscale information, the fusion algorithm incorporates reliable biological model data, thereby enhancing the reliability of registration results. The speed and quality of its registration capabilities have reached an internationally advanced level.

PV-iLearning: can quickly help doctors train and generate contouring models that align with their personal style, “PVmed currently serves over 500 hospitals in China, with more than 500,000 patient cases managed. Therefore, to accommodate the contouring styles and preferences of physicians across different regions, we have specially developed PV-iLearning, which enables doctors to easily train their own contouring models with a single click and zero coding.Professor Lu Yao, Founder and CTO of PVmed, introduced, “PV-iLearning employs a few-shot AI deep learning engine that requires as few as three cases to initiate training,”“This is also PVmed’s most distinguishing feature. We are constantly exploring every possibility, with the goal of enabling everyone to become a model architect—a goal we have indeed achieved. With the assistance of PV-iLearning, users can train high-quality models without any programming knowledge. Furthermore, all training data remains strictly within the hospital premises, ensuring maximum data privacy and security.”

In addition to the two new products mentioned above,In response to the clinical needs of customers in China and around the world, PVmed also showcased PV-iSpectra, co-developed with Philips, a globally renowned medical imaging equipment manufacturer, and PV-iTherapy, jointly developed with Elekta, a top-tier international radiation oncology provider. These two innovative radiotherapy products have been deployed for clinical use in China and will be expanded to other global markets. This not only demonstrates that PVmed’s professional expertise, core team, and innovation capabilities are recognized by global strategic partners and hospital clients, but also marks a significant step in the accelerated international expansion of Chinese enterprises.

PV-iSpectra: An all-in-one solution for intelligent spectral CT contouring and fusion, based on a web platform to adapt multi-sequence spectral CT images, enabling browsing and automatic contouring of spectral multimodal images, with reference to functional image linkage for modifications, empowering the target volume contouring process. It achieves automatic registration and contouring of multi-parametric functional CT images, addressing the challenge physicians face in making decisions amid multi-sequence, multi-parametric information. By integrating spectral CT images from different modalities, it delivers optimized contouring results, thereby facilitating the successful implementation of radiotherapy on spectral CT and ushering in a new era of smart spectral imaging-driven radiotherapy workflows.

PV-iTherapy: An online adaptive radiotherapy (ART) solution for cervical cancer, based on the Elekta medical linear accelerator, utilizes low-dose cone-beam CT (CBCT) images converted into high-quality synthetic CT (sCT) images via AI to help clinicians track disease progression during radiotherapy. Meanwhile, it can generate high-precision contours of targets and organs at risk for each single fraction based on sCT in real time, with support for rapid modification. This assists physicians in quickly evaluating cumulative dose errors to organs at risk during treatment, providing dosimetric clinical decision support for adjusting radiotherapy plans and customizing ART strategies, ultimately achieving efficient online ART for cervical cancer and enabling the completion of the first single-fraction treatment within 20 minutes.

The new AI-MDT product showcased by PVmed not only represents the forefront of current intelligent precision oncology treatment technologies, but also demonstrates PVmed’s firm commitment and robust capability in advancing global cancer care.
