At the launch ceremony, Incaier Life comprehensively articulated its brand image and philosophy. The Chinese name “盈康一生” (Yíng Kāng Yī Shēng) embodies the meaning of “great abundance appears as emptiness, ensuring the health and well-being of the people,” while the English name “Incaier” inherits the Haier brand legacy and integrates strategic pathways centered on technological innovation breakthroughs, digital-intelligence empowerment, borderless ecosystems, and global leadership, alongside the humanistic philosophy of “honoring life with sincerity and wisdom.” The brand logo design symbolizes the journey from a singular point to infinity, conveying the brand’s proposition of a borderless ecosystem and open, win-win collaboration.

From brand image refresh to booth and exhibit upgrades, Yingkang Yisheng’s five-year journey at the China International Import Expo (CIIE) has not only highlighted Haier’s entrepreneurial and innovative spirit and its robust intelligent manufacturing capabilities, but also demonstrated Haier’s steadfast commitment to its healthcare industry: dedicating itself to original technological innovation, clinical value application innovation, and ecosystem collaboration innovation.

Over 50% Premieres and Debuts Showcase Original Technological Prowess

The core mission of technological innovation lies in safeguarding and enhancing the life and health of the people. In this field, breakthroughs in original technologies are particularly critical.

At this exhibition, Yingkang Yisheng showcased its comprehensive achievements in innovation, with over 50% of its products and solutions making their global or inaugural debut. Particularly eye-catching was the “Life Ark,” the world’s first fourth-generation biobank, positioned at the center of the booth. Its innovative design attracted significant attention from attendees. Addressing the industry’s long-standing challenges—high initial construction costs, low space utilization, low safety in emergency sample transfer, and low sample throughput (the “three lows”)—the system employs flexible “multiple-unit train-style” modular technology. This enables full space utilization and automated emergency sample transfer, significantly improving access efficiency. The resulting “three highs” experience—high intelligence, high security, and high throughput—will effectively support the implementation of national-level medical research strategic projects. Additionally, the new Stirling cooling series unveiled at the booth marks a new chapter in green refrigeration.

Yingkang Life’s other innovative product launched this year—the fully automated cytotoxic drug compounding robot—marks a leap forward in compounding technology. This fully automated system employs precision robotic arms to independently perform drug dissolution, aspiration, and dispensing. Equipped with high-precision balances, sensors, and a 3D-AI visual recognition system, it ensures precise and efficient compounding, full traceability of medications, and zero occupational exposure for healthcare workers, thereby safeguarding safety at every drop.

Focusing on Clinical Needs, Continuously Upgrading Digital-Intelligent Solutions

“From the clinic, for the clinic”: Clinical pain points are the starting point for R&D. Focusing R&D efforts on clinical needs is another major highlight of Yingkang Yisheng’s participation in this exhibition.

A representative from Yingkang Life stated, “Throughout the journey from 0 to 1 and from 1 to N, all innovations should be centered on clinical applications; we must not innovate for the sake of innovation alone.”

The smart healthcare scenarios showcased this year best exemplify this point. Addressing the inefficiencies and high risks inherent in traditional pharmacy medication models, Yingkang Life has implemented a comprehensive digital upgrade of hospital medication processes. Spanning outpatient and emergency services, inpatient care, and intravenous admixture services, the solution achieves an intelligent, closed-loop management system covering the entire lifecycle of medications—storage, transfer, preparation, dispensing, and administration. This ensures end-to-end traceability of drug information, transparent logistics, and intelligent equipment management. Currently, this solution has been successfully deployed in over 400 hospitals, including the Second Affiliated Hospital of Soochow University.

Yingkang Life not only addresses in-hospital needs but also extends its solutions beyond the hospital setting. For instance, as the incidence of chronic kidney disease (CKD) in China continues to rise annually and shows a trend toward affecting younger populations, Yingkang Life has independently developed an automated peritoneal dialysis machine for home use. Featuring intelligence, flexibility, and personalization, this device enables patients to conveniently undergo peritoneal dialysis during their nighttime rest. By connecting to the cloud, it facilitates assessment, monitoring, and therapeutic guidance by clinical experts and researchers, thereby effectively improving the quality of life for CKD patients and enhancing their autonomy in making diagnostic and treatment decisions.

Open Collaboration and Integration of Medicine and Engineering, Infinite Possibilities for Ecosystem Innovation

The healthcare sector faces dual challenges: a substantial gap in clinical needs on one end, and the difficulty of translating scientific research achievements into practical applications on the other. Transforming research outcomes into solutions that meet clinical demands, thereby advancing cutting-edge studies from the laboratory to the clinic and from “bookshelves” to “market shelves,” is one of the key tasks in driving the development of new-quality productive forces in the healthcare industry.

Centered on stroke, the disease with the highest incidence, high mortality, and high disability rates in China, the engineered prototype of the “Endovascular Targeted Temperature Management System,” jointly developed by Yinkang Life and the team from Capital Medical University, made its debut at this year’s China International Import Expo (CIIE). Underpinning this innovation is the “Targeted Mild Hypothermia Neuroprotective Technology,” proposed by experts based on over 20 years of clinical practice. This technology has been acclaimed by the international medical community as “the most promising neuroprotective approach, poised to revolutionize stroke treatment.”

According to R&D engineers at Yinkang Yisheng, this globally pioneering, disruptive product adopts a “nearshore R&D” model. “We established our joint R&D base at Capital Medical University, conducting development based on real-world clinical applications at user sites, rather than tweaking parameters against prototypes in the lab. Clinical experts served as our mentors, enabling our R&D engineers to understand the ideal product design from physicians’ perspectives. This significantly accelerated our development progress and enhanced its focus, ultimately achieving product commercialization within just eight months.” It is reported that the nearshore R&D model was proposed by Haiyihui, China’s first medical-engineering sci-tech innovation industrialization platform spearheaded by Yinkang Yisheng. Haiyihui has gathered numerous academicians, experts, and research institutions, jointly focusing on accelerating the translation and incubation of scientific achievements in high-end innovative drugs and medical devices.

At this year’s China International Import Expo (CIIE), Yingkang Yisheng showcased the synergies across its three core sectors—life sciences, clinical medicine, and biotechnology—demonstrating the aggregated power of “1+1+1>3.” Shanghai RAAS Blood Products, which joined Yingkang Yisheng on June 18, has rapidly integrated into the company’s smart blood industry ecosystem. Spanning plasma collection, storage and transportation, testing and diagnostics, component preparation, clinical applications, and precision medicine, this comprehensive blood ecosystem value chain reflects Yingkang Yisheng’s deep expertise in the field and paves new pathways for sustainable development.

As conveyed by the theme “Boundless Growth, Intelligent Future,” the key to Yingkang Life’s continuous evolution lies in transitioning from “zero distance” with users to “zero boundaries” within the ecosystem. While addressing clinical pain points, this approach achieves a win-win outcome by maximizing user experience value, scientific research value for researchers, and commercial value for the enterprise.
