On November 8, 2024, at the highly anticipated 2024 China International Import Expo (CIIE), Eisei China and Veeva Systems, a global leading provider of cloud solutions for the life sciences industry, successfully co-hosted a special session on digital innovation themed “New Digital Momentum, New Future for Health” at the Eisei China booth.

Aisijian China’s next-generation Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system, built on the Veeva China CRM Suite, was successfully launched in just three months. This achievement has enabled digital-driven, efficient, and precise market decision-making and customer marketing, streamlined operational processes, empowered frontline business teams, and enhanced customer experience. Leveraging the efficient implementation, cost-control capabilities, and flexible scalability of the Veeva China Events Core project, Aisijian China successfully launched a new, modern meeting management platform within only five months. This platform has fully digitized the entire lifecycle of meeting management—including application, execution, and closure—significantly improving Aisijian’s operational efficiency and compliance. Furthermore, the platform provides data-driven deep insights for the business, helping Aisijian flexibly respond to complex compliance requirements and policy changes, thereby maintaining its leading position in a highly competitive market environment.
During the dialogue session, Mr. Larry Merizalde, CEO of Akeso China, and Mr. Ding Xiaofeng, General Manager of Veeva China, engaged in an in-depth discussion centered on three key themes. These themes covered: “Recent Developments in Akeso China’s Business,” “How Veeva Will Support Akeso China’s Growth in New Product Launches and Business Collaborations,” and “The Most Critical Support and Attributes Akeso China Expects from Veeva.” Additionally, both parties held detailed exchanges on “How Veeva Supports Akeso China’s Integration.”

Mr. Larry responded, “This year, Aspen China launched Endoquin, a drug for rare endocrine disorders. We also relaunched Mivacron, a neuromuscular blocking agent in the field of anesthesia, and signed a letter of intent with Zhejiang Shengzhao Pharmaceutical Technology Co., Ltd. to collaborate on liposomal bupivacaine injection for long-acting postoperative pain management. In December 2023, Aspen announced the acquisition of Sandoz’s China business. Moving forward, anesthesiology, antithrombotics, gastrointestinal disorders, and osteoporosis will become the company’s key therapeutic areas.”
