Smart Dental, Winning the Future: First Asia-Pacific Digital Oral Innovation Challenge Opens for Applications!

Nov 26, 2024 15:01 CST Updated 15:01

In recent years, with the rise in public health awareness and improved living standards, oral health has gradually become a focal point of attention. In the "Healthy China 2030" Planning Outline, the state explicitly proposed launching special initiatives such as Healthy Oral Care, aiming to achieve essentially full coverage at the county (city, district) level by 2030. Broader demand for dental implants has been stimulated, while trends toward younger demographics in oral healthcare consumption and the continuous upgrading of demand driven by the "beauty economy" have brought new possibilities to the dental industry.

However, the other side of the coin is the decline in dental implant prices triggered by the implementation of centralized procurement, along with the closure of many dental clinics and intensified market competition. How can these entities pursue transformation and iteration in the face of such challenges? And how can they identify new opportunities and growth drivers?

The 1st Asia-Pacific Digital Dentistry Innovation ChallengeUndoubtedly, it provides a platform for industry pioneers to exchange ideas. It is reported that the event is guided by the People's Government of Rizhao City and hosted by the Administrative Committee of Rizhao High-Tech Industrial Development Zone. The competition will gather dental projects with genuine innovative value and market potential, while engaging leading clinical institutions, top-tier investment funds, and local supporting industrial resources in Rizhao for in-depth participation. This initiative aims to foster collaboration among global stakeholders in the dental industry and jointly explore greater possibilities within the sector. For more resources, please refer to “A Multi-Billion-Dollar Digital Dentistry Industry Cluster Is Poised to Emerge: How Was the ‘Asia-Pacific Digital Dentistry Innovation Hub’ Built?”
