In this era of rapid change, innovation in the healthcare sector is a vital component of technological advancement. There is an urgent need in Western China for talent equipped with both innovative mindsets and practical capabilities. Following the successful launch and enthusiastic reception of the first “Qixin·Western Innovation Capacity Building Program” in Chengdu, we sincerely invite professionals, scholars, entrepreneurs, startup founders, and all those passionate about healthcare innovation to participate in the second session of the “Qixin·Western Innovation Capacity Building Program” training course, to be held in Chongqing.
In the first phase of the project, participants engaged in collaborative learning with experts and scholars to explore how clinical needs can be translated into technological innovations, break down barriers, promote the integration of medicine and engineering, and cultivate talent for industrialization. The second phase of training will continue to uphold the spirit of innovation, address challenges posed by frontier scientific and technological advances in the field of engineering technology, explore new pathways and models for integrating medicine and engineering, and provide sustained empowerment for the development of innovative talents adapted to the growth of China’s western regions.

To accelerate the cultivation of innovative talents in the healthcare sector in western China, promote the translation of achievements from medical-engineering integration and foster innovation and entrepreneurship, develop an industrial backbone team driven by clinical needs, and support the coordinated development of the life and health industry, the Qixin·Western Innovation Capacity Building Program plans to hold its second training session.
“Qixin • Western Innovation Capacity Building Program (Phase II)” is a non-degree, non-certification training initiative jointly launched by the Chengdu Tianfu International Bio-town Management Committee, Sichuan Western Medical Technology Transfer Center, National Vocational Skill Appraisal Institute of the Chongqing Municipal Health Commission, Global Health Industry Innovation Center, and Zhongguancun Technology Managers Association, with support from Boston Scientific, Roche Pharmaceuticals, and VCBeat.
