Alebund Pharmaceuticals Completes First Tranche of Series C Financing with RMB 550 Million to Advance Kidney Disease Pipeline and Commercialization

This round of investment was jointly led by a well-known industrial fund, Yangzhou Guojin Investment Group Co., Ltd., and Xicheng Jinrui, among others.

This round of financing will support Alebund in comprehensively advancing the development and commercialization of its renal disease pipeline, while also accelerating the progress of multiple clinical programs. These include the New Drug Application (NDA) submission in China and the initiation of global Phase III registration trials for AP301, a best-in-class iron-based phosphate binder; the further advancement of Phase II clinical trials in both China and the United States for AP306, a first-in-class small-molecule pan-phosphate transporter inhibitor; and the launch of its first commercialized product, Meixinluo.^®️Expansion of the Commercial Sales Network in China.
