First Digital Oral Healthcare Innovation Challenge Advances to Finals with 26 Cutting-Edge Projects

Recently, the semifinals of the inaugural Digital Dentistry Innovation Challenge concluded successfully, with 26 participating projects standing out and advancing to the finals to compete for the grand prize! Among them, 12 projects were shortlisted in the Early-Stage Category, and 14 in the Growth-Stage Category. The competition was guided by the Rizhao Municipal People’s Government and organized by the Administrative Committee of Rizhao High-Tech Industrial Development Zone.

During the two-day semifinal round, the project presentations were outstanding, with shortlisted teams comprehensively showcasing the highlights, market potential, and business plans of their entries. The panel of judges provided thoughtful comments and precise guidance, expressing high expectations for the market prospects of numerous projects.

Notably, the projects advancing to the finals are concentrated at the forefront of digitalization in the dental industry, covering both hardware and software such as periodontal equipment, 3D printing materials, dental big data systems, visualized orthodontic force systems, and cephalometric landmark measurement systems. These solutions span the entire workflow of dental diagnosis and treatment, fully demonstrating the vitality of the digital dental industry and highlighting China’s innovative mindset in digital dentistry.

On March 30, the competition will reach its climax with the final showdown, drawing significant attention to which teams will secure the first, second, and third prizes. The organizers stated that winning teams will not only receive substantial cash awards but also benefit from a range of support measures, including various assistance and incentive policies, designed to empower participating projects to the greatest extent. On March 31, the Administrative Committee of Rizhao High-Tech Industrial Development Zone will host the 2025 Conference on High-Quality Development of the Digital Dentistry Industry. The award ceremony for the inaugural Digital Dentistry Innovation Challenge will also be held in grand style during the event.
