Fuzhou Hailijia Oral Technology Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “Hailijia”), as a technology-driven innovator in China’s orthodontics sector, is reshaping traditional orthodontic diagnosis and treatment paradigms through cutting-edge artificial intelligence technologies. Leveraging its proprietary “Orthodontic Autonomous Driving System,” the company integrates AI-powered diagnostics, digital medical devices, and smart healthcare systems to establish unique technological barriers and business models.
From a macro-industry perspective, the Chinese orthodontics market faces significant structural imbalances between supply and demand. The estimated RMB 400 billion market capacity for pediatric and adolescent orthodontics in China is not matched by an adequate number of qualified professional orthodontists, creating a substantial market gap. On the other hand, pain points inherent in traditional orthodontic treatment models—such as prolonged diagnostic cycles, high tooth extraction rates, and unstable treatment outcomes—have made it imperative for the industry to achieve breakthroughs through technological innovation.

Beaver Home has independently developed an orthodontic expert system to precisely address the industry pain point of insufficient supply on the provider side by building a comprehensive digital solution. According to its materials, this system integrates proprietary neural network algorithms with facial landmark detection technology, enabling one-stop acquisition and analysis of multimodal data such as photographs, CBCT scans, and intraoral scans. It can generate automatic diagnostic reports at the level of chief physicians in tertiary hospitals within five seconds, improving diagnostic efficiency by dozens of times compared to traditional methods.
Beaver Family has established three core technological barriers through systematic R&D. By analyzing data from nearly 100,000 clinical cases, the company has successfully built an orthodontic case classification system encompassing 81 refined categories, forming the largest pediatric and adolescent orthodontic diagnosis and treatment database in China. Through the application of advanced quantitative technologies, Beaver Family has integrated mechanical engineering techniques, precision measurement technologies, and proprietary algorithms to optimize treatment accuracy and significantly reduce treatment errors, effectively lowering the tooth extraction rate in traditional orthodontic treatments from 60–70% to 10%. In terms of medical device innovation, the company’s independently developed new-generation smart clear aligners leverage diagnostic data to enable one-click target position tooth arrangement and achieve a 72% stress retention capacity, effectively ensuring the stability and reliability of long-term treatment outcomes.

It is worth noting that Haolijia’s innovations are not limited to the technical level but are also reflected in breakthroughs in its diagnostic and treatment philosophy. The company’s five-dimensional orofacial screening system covers key physiological dimensions, including muscle function, respiratory function, jaw development, and occlusal relationships, thereby achieving an interdisciplinary, comprehensive diagnostic and therapeutic assessment. This innovative, multi-dimensional integrated approach has effectively improved treatment efficiency, enabling 70% of pediatric patients to achieve significant improvements in facial morphology within 6–9 months—a substantial reduction compared to the 9–12-month cycle typical of traditional orthodontic treatment—thus providing patients with a more efficient and scientifically grounded correction solution.

In terms of business model innovation, Hailijia has built a growth engine driven by the dual wheels of "product + channel." According to Hailijia's data, through an efficient digital operation system, the company has reduced customer acquisition costs by 60%, while achieving a 33% conversion rate and a 42% member referral rate. In addition, relying on a standardized professional training system and an intelligent store operation platform, the company can effectively empower general practitioners, helping them master professional orthodontic diagnosis and treatment skills more quickly, thereby improving the overall quality of medical services.
It is reported that Haolijia has been continuously advancing its development strategy since its establishment. After securing investment from industry-native capital in 2021, the company actively developed a digital store system, achieved nationwide expansion across China between 2022 and 2024, established an internet medical center, and realized the integration of product channels along with full-process digitalization of orthodontic treatment. Currently, the company has opened more than 30 stores in cities such as Chengdu, Wuxi, and Fuzhou, and plans to further expand into Wuhan, Guangzhou, Hefei, and other cities.

Looking ahead to its strategic layout, Haolijia is systematically advancing three core development directions: first, continuously deepening technological innovation and expanding into international markets through the English localization of its products, with ongoing engagements already established in the Middle East and Southeast Asian markets; second, optimizing its industrial chain layout by planning to establish a production base in Rizhao; and third, building an extensive service network by empowering specialized orthodontists and self-taught orthodontists.
As an innovative enterprise in the field of orthodontics, Beaver Home is leveraging artificial intelligence as its engine to build a new ecosystem for digital orthodontic services. Addressing the supply-demand imbalance and industry pain points in China’s orthodontic market, it has established a full-chain technological ecosystem encompassing “diagnosis–treatment–service.” This approach not only breaks through traditional efficiency bottlenecks with AI-driven precision diagnosis and treatment but also reconstructs the underlying logic of orthodontic therapy through a multidisciplinary assessment system. As the company advances toward internationalization and deep integration across the industry chain, Beaver Home is addressing a critical question: When AI penetrates the core of medical decision-making, how can a balance be struck between technological empowerment and the essence of healthcare? Looking ahead, exploring how digitalization reshapes the boundaries of healthcare accessibility will likely remain a central theme for ongoing industry exploration.
