March 21–23, 2025, hosted by China Medical Devices Magazine and the Beijing Smart Healthcare Technology Innovation Alliance, co-organized by the Geriatrics Branch of the Chinese Health Care Association for the Elderly, and undertaken by Haoyigong APP, Huitu Medical, and Huiyijie, “2025 CMDC: The 15th China Healthcare Data Conference & Medical Technology Innovation Conference”successfully held in Beijing. Themed “Unlocking Data Value, Unleashing Growth Momentum,” the conference adopted a hybrid online-offline format, attracting1,500+ Attendees On-Siteers and the "Good MedTech APP"3+ Million Online Viewers, becoming a highly anticipated annual event in the healthcare industry.

The Main Forum & Opening Ceremony of the conference invited Feng Jingyi, President-Elect of the Chinese Society of Medical Engineering under the Chinese Medical Association; Yadin David, President of the Global Clinical Engineering Alliance (GCEA); and Jin Dong, President of China Medical Devices Magazine, to deliver opening remarks. The session was moderated in sequence by Li Bin, Former President of the Chinese Society of Medical Engineering under the Chinese Medical Association; Liao Hongen, Tenured Professor at Tsinghua University School of Medicine; Zhang Xu, Chairman of the Clinical Engineering Professional Committee of the Chinese Research Hospital Association; Yang Ruiyong from People's Publishing House; and Wang Baoting, Former Director of the Medical Device Department of the National Medical Products Administration.

The main forum of the conference announced the results of the 2024 Annual Data Survey on China’s Medical Equipment Industry and presented the Outstanding Contribution Award for Researchers in China’s Healthcare Industry. Jin Dong, President of Chinese Medical Equipment Magazine, provided an interpretation of the “2024 Annual Data Survey on China’s Medical Equipment Industry” report, offering data support for the industry’s development.
Notably, this survey covered over 24,700 researchers in China’s medical device industry across 32 provinces, with data collection spanning 3,522 medical institutions. Ultimately, 5,207 individuals participated, yielding 17,751 completed questionnaires. The survey included 2,619 hospitals at the secondary level and above, achieving a coverage rate of 16.57%. Focusing on five major categories—digital diagnostic and therapeutic equipment, emergency and life support devices, endoscopic equipment, operating room equipment, and laboratory equipment—the study examined five key indicators: market penetration rate, training systems, Net Promoter Score (NPS), intended repurchase rate, and comprehensive satisfaction with after-sales service. It also placed greater emphasis on the comprehensive brand service capabilities of medical device manufacturers. This approach provides a more objective and comprehensive overview of the actual usage of hospital equipment and the after-sales service performance of various manufacturers. Health News has dedicated full-page coverage to this survey for 13 consecutive years. The survey results have been frequently referenced in government procurement, General Logistics Department tenders, centralized procurement initiatives in multiple provinces, and hospital tendering processes.
At the conclusion of the forum, Wang Lanming, former Director of the Medical Device Registration Management Department of the National Medical Products Administration (NMPA), delivered a keynote speech on “Discussion on Post-Market Regulatory Requirements for Medical Devices (in Healthcare Institutions).” The event also featured the launch ceremony for the book *Technological Innovation Empowering High-Quality Development of the Big Health Industry*, published by People's Publishing House, and the release ceremony for the Medical Device Blue Book—*China Medical Device Industry Data Report* (2025)—further adding authoritative insights to industry research.
In 2025, the inaugural “China Healthcare Industry Glory Awards” was officially launched, aiming to honor outstanding institutions, teams, and individuals in the medical field, while promoting the benevolent spirit of healthcare professionals and fostering innovation. As a benchmark event in the industry, the awards ceremony sets exemplary standards, facilitates exchange platforms, consolidates industry strength, and stimulates technological innovation and service optimization, thereby injecting new momentum into the high-quality development of China’s healthcare sector.
At the gala, the 2024 China Medical Equipment “Golden Figure Award for Excellence” was presented. Awards conferred included the China Medical Equipment “Golden Figure Award,” “Silver Figure Award,” “No. 1 Product Line Award,” “National Brand Gold Award,” “Outstanding National Brand Award,” “Outstanding Imported Brand Award,” “2024 Person of the Year Award,” “2024 Outstanding Manager Award,” and “2024 Excellent Manager Award,” as well as awards from the 10th China Healthcare Industry Innovation Competition and the Top Ten Individuals and Teams of the 15th “China’s Best Biomedical Engineers” selection. In addition, the launch ceremonies were held for the 11th China Healthcare Industry Innovation Competition and the 16th “China’s Best Biomedical Engineers” selection for Outstanding Clinical Engineers/Teams. This industry extravaganza not only established a cross-sector platform for exchange but also injected new momentum into the high-quality development of China’s healthcare sector through the dual drivers of technological innovation and service optimization.
