On the evening of March 27, 2025, Neusoft Ruixin Technology Group Co., Ltd. (“Neusoft Ruixin Group” or the “Company”; Stock Code: 9616.HK) announced its annual results for the year ended December 31, 2024.

 

In 2024, the Group leveraged “Education + Technology + Services” as its core engine and adopted the integrated development of education, medical care, elderly care, rehabilitation, and tourism as its strategic blueprint, comprehensively advancing strategic transformation. All business segments achieved synergistic development, sustaining steady performance growth. During the Reporting Period, the Group recorded revenue of approximately RMB 2.042 billion, representing a year-on-year increase of 13.1%; gross profit of approximately RMB 969 million, up by 12.0% year-on-year; and adjusted net profit of approximately RMB 466 million, an increase of 8.7% year-on-year, with an adjusted net profit margin of 22.8%.

 

In 2024, leveraging its education technology business as the cornerstone and link, the Company strategically acquired Neusoft Health Medical and its subsidiaries to further strengthen its capabilities in elderly care and medical services. Meanwhile, the Company launched the Neusoft Phoenix Academy brand and initiated services in senior education and mental wellness tourism, completing its renaming to “Neusoft Ruixin Technology Group” in alignment with its new ecosystem. This year marked a fresh start for the Company’s strategic transformation and upgrading, and more importantly, it was a pioneering year for Neusoft Ruixin’s commitment to becoming a leader in the integrated “Education, Medical Care, Elderly Care, Rehabilitation, and Tourism” ecosystem.

 

Strengthening the Foundation of the Education Business

 

Leveraging Neusoft’s robust industrial heritage and technological resource advantages, the Group’s education business has accelerated its development and achieved substantial results. In 2024, revenue from full-time higher education services amounted to approximately RMB 1.626 billion, representing a year-on-year increase of 11.8%; revenue from educational resource exports reached approximately RMB 221 million, up 14.9% year-on-year; and revenue from lifelong learning services totaled approximately RMB 139 million.

 

In the realm of full-time higher education, its three applied undergraduate universities have focused on the “IT + Digital Media + Healthcare” sectors, with educational quality continuing to improve. As of December 31, 2024, the combined enrollment across the three universities exceeded 58,000 students, representing a 2.3% year-on-year increase from 2023 and marking a new historical high for consecutive years. The universities achieved remarkable results in academic competitions; in 2024, students from the three institutions collectively won over 9,100 provincial-level third-prize-or-higher awards, more than half of which were national-level honors. Employment and entrepreneurship outcomes also reached new heights: as of December 31, 2024, the employment placement rate for the Class of 2024 graduates at all three universities exceeded 90%, further demonstrating the strong capabilities derived from the deep integration of education and industry.


In the realm of educational technology R&D, the Group has built a comprehensive matrix of services and products. In 2024, it launched the openNEU metaverse creative creation and sharing platform, Neusoft Smart Education Platform V3.0, and OpenHarmony-based information innovation training laboratories, further demonstrating its commitment to empowering education with technology amid digitalization trends.


In terms of educational resource delivery, the Group has focused on three key sectors—“IT + Digital Media + Health and Healthcare”—and established an integrated 4S product service system encompassing professional content, management platforms, software, and hardware. In 2024, the Group provided smart education platforms, educational management software, practical training laboratory products, and supporting teaching materials to 133 colleges, universities, and institutions. It also collaborated with 62 institutions on the joint development of industry academies and academic programs, reaching approximately 23,000 students. For continuing education services, the Group implemented 193 training projects across China for 94 organizations, covering corporate training, government-commissioned programs, institutional training, faculty development, and vocational skill certification. These initiatives engaged over 80,000 participants through both online and offline channels. Meanwhile, capitalizing on the opportunities presented by population aging, the Company innovatively launched the “LIFECARES” integrated model for elderly education, combining recreation, care, healthcare, and learning. In August 2024, Neusoft Phoenix Academy was established, with enrollment commencing simultaneously in Dalian and Chengdu, attracting more than 250 students to date.

 

Innovative Development of Integrated Medical and Elderly Care Services

 

To proactively address the profound impacts and unique opportunities presented by China’s increasingly prominent “aging” society, the Group strategically launched its expansion and deep cultivation of the silver economy market in 2024. It has pioneered a new integrated model of “education, medical care, and elderly care,” fostering a stable, mutually reinforcing, collaborative, efficient, and sustainable new business ecosystem characterized by education supporting medical care and elderly care, medical services facilitating elderly care and assisting education, and elderly care providing respite for medical services and supplementing education.

 

In terms of medical services, a four-in-one integrated development system encompassing “medical care, rehabilitation, elderly care, and nursing” was established in 2024. The outpatient and emergency visits at Ruikang Cardiovascular Hospital under the Group exceeded 44,000, with inpatient admissions and surgeries surpassing 6,000. Ruikang Stomatological Hospital recorded over 12,000 outpatient visits. Regarding health and elderly care services, the occupancy rate at Ruikang Home Elderly Care Facility under the Group exceeded 75% as of December 31, 2024. By deeply integrating education, healthcare, elderly care, and technology, the Group has achieved bidirectional empowerment between education and industry in practical training bases and talent pipeline development, driving efficient resource utilization and sustained value growth.

 

Looking ahead, the Group will remain committed to education as its foundation and connecting link, deeply implementing the initiative of “technology-empowered ecosystem for education, healthcare, and elderly care, and education-driven digital-intelligent lifestyle.” It will provide digital-intelligent educational, medical, elderly care, industrial, and cultural tourism products and services covering the entire life cycle, forging a new five-in-one development pattern. The Group will continue to advance technology-enabled education and foster coordinated development across all educational sectors; develop university-linked healthcare and elderly care industries, driving the deep integration of healthcare, elderly care, and education through technological innovation; build a digital-intelligent urban elderly care service platform to deliver high-quality consulting and elderly consumer product services for home-based, community-based, and institutional elderly care; promote the integration of Neusoft Phoenix Academy with health and tourism services, creating an integrated “learning–travel–care” comprehensive model for elderly education; and facilitate the efficient sharing and utilization of human, financial, and material resources to build a harmonious, inclusive, and prosperous ecosystem, thereby creating greater value for society.
