MARATHON VENTURE PARTNERS

Early-stage venture capital institution

Recently, the “infrastructure builders” and “ecosystem enablers” in the field of medical imaging AI research, development, and application in China—TopHaiying Yinghe Medical Intelligence Technology Co., Ltd.(hereinafter referred to as “Yinghe Medical”) has successfully completed an A-round financing of over RMB 100 million. This round of financing was led byLed by MARATHON VENTURE PARTNERS, with strategic support from funds including Dingrun Jiade and Kezhi Chuangan, injecting strong momentum into Yinghe Medical’s industrial layout in the field of medical imaging AI. In addition, existing shareholders continued to increase their investments in this round, further highlighting the capital market’s high recognition of Yinghe Medical. Following this round of financing, Yinghe Medical will continue to accelerate the “Yinghe Miya®"Iteration of foundational models for medical imaging, industrial layout of the medical imaging AI ecosystem, and talent team building."

Yinghe Yimai, incubated by Yimai Yangguang and co-founded by several authoritative experts in the field of medical imaging in China, adheres to the core philosophy of “Professionalism Forged through Deep Cultivation, Imaging Empowered by Digital Intelligence.” In October 2023, Yinghe Yimai embarked on a renewed journey, strategically positioning itself in core regions including Beijing, Shanghai, Xi’an, Wuhan, and Nanchang. The company is committed to deeply empowering traditional medical imaging with artificial intelligence technology, aiming to significantly enhance the efficiency and quality of medical imaging services. Dedicated to creating industry-leading AI solutions for the entire imaging workflow and an imaging data asset management system, Yinghe Yimai seeks to comprehensively improve the work efficiency of physicians and administrators. Furthermore, it aims to inject strong momentum into the intelligent, efficient, and systematic transformation of the entire healthcare industry, laying a solid foundation for building a future-oriented smart medical imaging AI ecosystem.

Technological Breakthrough: The Paradigm Revolution from “Tools” to “Infrastructure”

Traditional AI for medical imaging has mostly existed in the form of single-disease auxiliary tools. To break through this limitation, Yinghe Medical independently developed the “Yinghe Miya®” foundational model for medical imaging, breaking away from the traditional single-disease approach and pioneering a research and development model based on “examination items as units.” By deeply integrating multimodal data such as CT, MR, and X-ray, it achieves seamless connectivity from image acquisition to structured report generation. This model demonstrates significant advantages in feature extraction and generalization capabilities, achieving a 10–20% improvement in accuracy under small-sample training conditions. Downstream models exhibit strong segmentation performance across multiple anatomical regions, with an average Dice coefficient reaching 0.9, thereby providing more precise decision support for clinical practice.

Centered on this core technology, Yinghe Medical has developed four flagship products: MIIA-iSpacs, an intelligent imaging system covering all clinical scenarios; MIIA-iData, which facilitates the capitalization of data assets; MIIA-iResearch, empowering scientific research and innovation; and MIIA-AI, supporting rapid deployment and intelligent invocation of AI tools. These smart platforms not only reimagine workflows in hospital radiology departments but also establish an open, shared intelligent ecosystem.

Business Deepening: From Point Breakthroughs to Ecosystem Empowerment

Currently, artificial intelligence (AI) technology is profoundly reshaping the landscape of the healthcare industry. The National “New Generation Artificial Intelligence Development Plan” explicitly calls for accelerating scenario-based innovation and industrial application of AI in the healthcare sector. As a cornerstone of clinical diagnosis, the level of intelligence in medical imaging directly impacts diagnostic efficiency and accuracy. However, China’s medical imaging field still faces three major challenges: low data standardization, weak imaging capabilities at the primary care level, and significant underutilization of imaging capabilities within the healthcare system.

Yinghe Medical Pulse leverages ecosystem collaboration as a strategic breakthrough: it engages in joint research with top-tier hospitals such as West China Hospital and Beijing Tiantan Hospital, organizes data based on real-world clinical scenarios, breaks down inter-departmental data silos, and develops targeted AI tools for multiple scenarios to overcome the bottleneck of “single-disease products.” In partnership with industry-leading institutions like Lianren Health and the People’s Medical Publishing House Research Institute, it co-establishes a national-level medical imaging data platform, implementing structured governance on massive amounts of unstructured imaging data to transform “dormant data” into actionable production factors. By collaborating with Huawei Cloud, it leverages superior computing power to optimize AI model training processes, reduce training costs, enhance efficiency, and strengthen data structuring capabilities, thereby resolving technical challenges such as “processing overload and inefficient training.” Furthermore, through deep cooperation with Ant Yikang, it utilizes platform resources to expand medical application scenarios, promote the widespread adoption of AI tools among institutional healthcare users, accelerate the deployment of high-quality medical imaging services, and further build a closed-loop ecosystem integrating “data–technology–application.”

The Path to Innovation: From Clinical Pain Points to Industry Disruption

Wang Shihe, founder of Yinghe Medical Pulse, is a former physician at a Grade 3A hospital. Through his clinical experience and entrepreneurial practice, he has developed profound insights into medical imaging: the fragmentation of traditional AI tools, the pervasive existence of data silos, and the weak diagnostic capabilities at the primary care level have become core bottlenecks restricting industry development. Since its restructuring in 2023, the company has followed a "physician-led, technology-driven" path. Over two years of refinement, from building the MIIA technical framework to completing seed-round validation, and further securing angel round funding in 2024 and Series A financing in 2025, it has consistently advanced based on the philosophy of "making data the new infrastructure and empowering physicians as AI creators." In January 2025, the "Yinghe Miya" L0 foundation model for medical imaging was prominently launched in Beijing. Leveraging a report-level learning framework and industry-leading few-shot generalization capabilities, this model surpassed international benchmarks on multiple metrics using authoritative international datasets, marking a qualitative shift in medical imaging AI from an auxiliary tool to a core productive force.

As Yinghe Medical has always maintained: AI is not meant to replace physicians, but to empower them. Amidst the trends of data assetization and the widespread adoption of AI, Yinghe Medical is reshaping productivity relations in medical imaging through its “foundation model + open ecosystem” approach, writing a new paradigm for the era of precision medicine.
