Shenzhen Shinesky Biotechnology Co., Ltd. was founded in 2017 by Professor Zhang Jiaheng, a doctoral supervisor at Harbin Institute of Technology (Shenzhen). It is the world’s first enterprise to systematically apply supramolecular technology to the broader health and industrial sectors. The company’s business scope coversDaily-use cosmetics and their raw materials, biopharmaceuticals, functional foods and their raw materials, medical devices, as well as pesticides and feed additives in the broader health sector; concurrently, it has established a presence in new energy, photovoltaics, and other industries, along with pan-industrial sectors such as precious metal extraction. The company received strategic investments from Bloomage Biotech and L'Oréal in 2022 and 2023, respectively, marking L'Oréal’s first open innovation investment project in China. After four rounds of financing, it has secured investments from renowned institutions including Oriental Fortune Capital, Cowin Capital, Hongtai Fund, Lihe Hongxin, Shenzhen SME Guarantee, Guohua Investment, and Sihai New Materials.

In the project of AI R&D platform for new supramolecular materials, the R&D team of Shinesky Innovation had already attempted to develop functional molecules by leveraging quantum chemistry theories and computational chemistry software tools as early as 2008, and published “Theoretical Study of pKa for perchloric acid” in the Journal of Molecular Structure. In the same year, DeepMind released AlphaFold, a protein structure prediction model that accurately predicts protein structures based on parameters such as intermolecular interactions.

After years of scientific exploration and data accumulation, the Company has initially established the capability to predict supramolecular structures through computational models. On March 18, 2025, Shinesky Innovation announced a strategic collaboration with Deep Principle, an AI for Chemistry/Materials technology company, to jointly create the world’s first AI-powered supramolecular material synthesis matrix—Jianmu™ (SynthrixJIMU). Centered on an intelligent AI engine, this platform integrates chemistry, materials science, and engineering to achieve an end-to-end workflow for supramolecular material design, simulation, and synthesis. It aims to enable demand-driven intelligent creation, precise simulation, efficient validation, and continuous optimization through experiment-linked feedback, significantly accelerating the translation efficiency from laboratory to market.

Technology-Led: Breakthroughs from Beauty to Multiple Fields

In the field of cosmetics,Leveraging its core platform technology of supramolecular modification, Shenzhen Shinesky Biotechnology Co., Ltd. has successfully upgraded and developed supramolecular ingredients with efficacies such as whitening and anti-aging, acne treatment and anti-inflammation, soothing and moisturizing, and oil control and cleansing. These innovations address common challenges associated with active ingredients, including poor water solubility, high irritation potential, low stability, and inadequate compatibility, thereby enabling their more effective incorporation into formulations to deliver superior skincare benefits. Currently, Shenzhen Shinesky Biotechnology Co., Ltd. has partnered withL'Oréal, Procter & Gamble, Beiersdorf, Bloomage Biotechnology, Botanee, FuErJia, Freda, Marubihas established partnerships with more than 100 well-known brands.

In the food sector,As the world’s first upstream enterprise to systematically apply supramolecular technology in the pan-health sector, Shinesky Innovation conducts ordered “intelligent” assembly and modification of food ingredients, with applications in food processing, component extraction, quality improvement, and functional enhancement. These technologies are applicable to functional and innovative food products. Key ingredients include a range of functional raw materials such as vitamins, plant extracts, probiotics, and saturated and unsaturated fats.

Shenzhen Shinesky Biotechnology Co., Ltd. has also built up multiple technological reserves in the fields of environmental protection and agriculture.. This includes novel targeted adsorption materials based on supramolecular technology, which can selectively capture micropollutants such as pesticides, pharmaceuticals, and hazardous chemicals from wastewater, as well as carbon materials modified with supramolecular solvents, which can perform oil-water separation in oily wastewater.
