YiduTech Announces FY2025 Results: Adjusted EBITDA Profitability Sustained with 25.6% YoY Growth

Today, Yidu Tech (2158.HK) held its earnings announcement to interpret its annual results for the year ended March 31, 2025 (“FY2025”).

 

During the reporting period, the Company achieved total revenue of RMB 715 million. On a managed business basis, the Company’s adjusted EBITDA remained profitable in the current fiscal year, following its return to profitability in the previous fiscal year, representing a year-on-year increase of 25.6%. Benefiting from improved internal operational efficiency and enhanced synergies across business segments, the Company’s annual net loss narrowed to RMB 135 million, a year-on-year reduction of 38.9%. The backlog of orders on hand reached RMB 789 million.


Management stated at the meeting that YiduCore has established a growth flywheel of “data–algorithms–scenarios,” which serves as the cornerstone of Yidu Tech’s business resilience and growth potential. Meanwhile, AI is driving verifiable, high-efficiency returns, enhancing value in key areas such as clinical diagnosis and treatment, pharmaceutical R&D, and public health. “We recognize that the deep application of AI in healthcare is a marathon requiring sustained investment and substantial accumulation. Yidu Tech will continue to focus on building core capabilities and maintain strategic consistency, laying a solid foundation for sustainable growth.”

 

Solid Technical Foundation, Clear Path for Large-Scale Application of Large Models


During the reporting period, Yidu Tech’s core algorithm engine, YiduCore, continued to evolve. It has cumulatively processed and analyzed over 6 billion authorized medical records, covering more than 4,000 hospitals. The system has accumulated insights and understanding of tens of thousands of diseases, with its disease knowledge graph essentially encompassing all known diseases, and its specialized disease databases covering more than 90 disease types. Through close collaboration with renowned experts and researchers in the industry, Yidu Tech has produced datasets for 20 specialized disease areas, providing highly valuable insights and knowledge support for key scenarios such as disease prediction, clinical research, and intelligent diagnosis and treatment.

 

During the reporting period, Yidu Tech continued to deepen its technological breakthroughs and scenario empowerment for its self-developed large language model (LLM) specialized in the medical vertical. In advancing the multi-scenario deployment of LLMs, Yidu Tech’s self-developed AI middle platform served as a key enabler, establishing a “1+N+X” Copilot product matrix. This framework is built upon one autonomous and controllable AI middle platform, integrates N large language models, and empowers X business scenarios, covering the entire patient journey from pre-diagnosis to diagnosis and post-diagnosis. By connecting with the data middle platform, it constructs end-to-end capabilities spanning “data governance – intelligent training – scenario implementation.” From February to June 2025, the AI clinical assistant built on the AI middle platform assisted physicians in serving a cumulative total of 26,000 patients.

 

Since the beginning of this year, the newly upgraded AI middle platform has been deployed and applied in more than 30 Grade A tertiary hospitals within three months. Notable achievements include breakthrough implementations across multiple clinical scenarios in specialized oncology hospitals, the launch of China’s first intelligent agent for liver cancer diagnosis and treatment in collaboration with Academician Teng Gaojun’s team, and empowering the construction of the Tianjin Binhai New Area Economic-Technological Development Area’s health and medical big data platform through large-model-based intelligent triage and digital therapeutics. Yidu Tech’s large model implementation has achieved widespread success, ranging from comprehensive hospital-wide intelligence to deep penetration in specialized diseases, extending to intelligent leadership by renowned experts and large-scale population-level applications, thereby accelerating the intelligent transformation of the healthcare industry.

 

Anchoring Value Growth: Multi-Product Line Upgrades Highlight Development Resilience

 

Amid a complex and ever-changing market environment, Yidu Tech has anchored its core objective of value-driven growth, adhered to its “focus” strategy, and achieved innovative breakthroughs and upgrades across multiple product lines within its three major business segments, demonstrating strong developmental resilience and sustained growth potential.

 

Among these, the Big Data Platform and Solutions segment (AI for Medical) generated revenue of RMB 346 million during the reporting period, representing a year-on-year increase of 10.3%. As of March 31, 2025, the total number of renowned hospital clients reached 110, while the total number of clients among regulatory agencies and policymakers stood at 44.

 

The AI Middle Platform has been upgraded to version 2.0, enabling unified management of multiple large language models (LLMs). Incorporating technical enhancements such as LLM hallucination control, it introduces standard AI agents for scenarios including triage and guidance, as well as structured electronic medical records. Covering the entire patient journey from pre-consultation to post-consultation, these tools assist physicians in formulating treatment plans, accelerate clinical research, and optimize the patient healthcare experience. The new-generation data center, Eywa, has been upgraded to version 5.0, deeply integrating LLMs with hospital data platforms to build an intelligent operational management system covering all scenarios. By leveraging LLMs to empower multi-modal data governance, data flow speed has increased, while the efficiency of data collection, governance, and quality control has improved by more than fourfold, significantly reducing labor and computational costs. Furthermore, Yidu Tech has launched the “Lingxi Zhiguan” intelligent agent for operational management and the new-generation AI-powered scientific research product “Lingxi Zhiyan,” helping hospitals increase operational efficiency by 30% and accelerate the output of scientific research achievements.

 

The Life Sciences Solutions segment (AI for Life Science) generated RMB 247 million in revenue. As of March 31, 2025, the number of active clients reached 132. The net revenue retention rate for the top 20 clients was 87.51%, and 16 of the top 20 multinational pharmaceutical companies were Yidu Tech’s clients. In terms of clinical research, the Company has completed 411 clinical studies, including sponsor-initiated clinical trials and investigator-initiated trials. The number of prospective and retrospective real-world study projects reached 275.

 

In the field of clinical data management, Yidu Tech has launched the iEDC solution, powered by the Yidu Large Language Model and integrated with a deep knowledge base for clinical research data management. The solution offers multiple modules, including intelligent database building, automated logical verification, AI-assisted data entry, intelligent data cleaning, and intelligent data insights, achieving an exponential leap in the efficiency of data management and statistical analysis while reengineering data governance processes. During the intelligent patient recruitment phase, iRecruitment provides a highly generalizable and precise enrollment solution for pharmaceutical and medical device clinical trials, reducing manual configuration costs by 90% while achieving a more than threefold increase in patient matching accuracy.

 

The Health Management Platform and Solutions segment (AI for Care) generated revenue of RMB 122 million. Yidu Tech has deeply cultivated the “Huiminbao” projects in core provinces and municipalities across China. For three consecutive years, it has served as the primary operating platform for “Shenzhen Huiminbao,” with 6.09 million enrollees in 2024, achieving an enrollment rate exceeding 35%, ranking among the highest nationwide. Furthermore, it has served as the primary operating platform for “Beijing Puhui Health Insurance” for four consecutive years, accumulating over 15 million enrollments and processing more than 370,000 claims, providing peace of mind to numerous families affected by illness and demonstrating significant social benefit. As of March 31, 2025, the number of active users who completed at least one transaction on the health management platform exceeded 24 million.
