On July 28, the “AI + Healthcare Industry Sustainable Innovation Forum” was held in Shanghai as part of the 2025 World Artificial Intelligence Conference (WAIC), where the “2025 Recommended List of Sustainable Innovation Cases in Healthcare” was prominently released. JD Health’s medical AI large-model solution was successfully selected for the list, demonstrating not only its leading advantages in technological innovation and practical application but also, more importantly, its ability to promote healthcare accessibility through inclusive technology, thereby continuously creating social value.
According to reports, the “2025 Recommended List of Sustainable Innovation Cases in Healthcare” was jointly initiated by Yicai (CBN), Health News Consulting, and the Medical Services Professional Committee of the Shanghai Modern Service Industry Federation. The organizers invited experts from various sectors to establish the “Nomination Committee for Sustainable Innovation Cases in Healthcare.” Through rigorous procedures—including nomination submissions, revisions and confirmations, and expert selections—shortlisted cases were identified. The initiative aims to discover and recognize outstanding cases that drive sustainable innovation in the pharmaceutical and broader healthcare sector, providing a platform for sharing and exchanging best practices in sustainable innovation within the industry.
The Nomination Committee for Sustainable Innovation Cases in Healthcare believes that accelerating the deep application of AI not only aligns with the development direction of new quality productive forces but also serves as a crucial pathway to addressing the public’s pressing concerns regarding difficult and expensive access to medical care. JD Health has not only launched “Jingyi Qianxun,” the first fully open-source vertical large language model in China’s healthcare industry, but also released a series of AI-driven healthcare products based on large models, including “AI Jingyi,” “JD Zhuoyi,” and “Kangkang.” These solutions cover diverse scenarios across online and offline channels, both within and outside hospitals, encompassing medical consultations, medication purchases, and health management. Notably, “AI Jingyi” has served over 50 million users within six months and introduced more than 500 specialist physician agents. This initiative establishes an industry-leading comprehensive professional AI health service matrix comprising “AI physicians + multi-specialist professional role agents + specialist physician agents,” thereby accelerating the entry of internet healthcare into a new phase of scaled AI application.
It is reported that in the exhibition area of WAIC 2025, JD Health specially set up a series of medical AI products such as “AI Jingyi” and “Kangkang” to interact directly with the audience, triggering a wave of experience among the visitors. Wang Guoxin, Chief Scientist of JD Health Exploration Research Institute (JDH XLab), stated that since the full open-source release in February this year, JD Health has continued to focus on building “Jingyi Qianxun 2.0,” aiming to promote the expansion of medical artificial intelligence from general practice services to more complex specialized disease areas through technological innovation and ecological openness, further accelerating the process of intelligent transformation in healthcare.
