Dr. Molly He
CEO & Co-founder, Element Biosciences

Dr. Molly He is the Co-founder and Chief Executive Officer of Element Biosciences, with over twenty years of experience in technological innovation and management within the biotechnology and healthcare sectors. Prior to founding Element, Dr. He served as a Venture Partner at Foresite Capital and as Senior Director of Scientific Research at Illumina, where she led global scientific teams in protein reagent innovation and received the company’s highest innovation award twice consecutively. Before joining Illumina, she was the Head of Protein Science at Pacific Biosciences, responsible for developing key reagents for single-molecule real-time sequencing.
Molly holds a Ph.D. in Protein Biophysics from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA). She has long been dedicated to advancing science education and has served as a coach for the California Science Olympiad since 2013.
Dr. Michael Previte
Chief Technology Officer (CTO) & Senior Vice President of R&D & Co-Founder, Element Biosciences

Dr. Michael Previte is the Co-founder and Chief Technology Officer (CTO) of Element Biosciences, with over a decade of experience in technological innovation within the field of genomics. Prior to joining Element, he served as Associate Chief Scientist at Illumina, where he led the research and development of multiple cutting-edge sequencing platforms, and was deeply involved in the early development of single-molecule sequencing technology at Life Technologies.
He holds a Ph.D. in physical chemistry from Boston College and completed his postdoctoral training at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, with a long-standing focus on integrating advanced microscopic imaging with high-throughput biochemical technologies. Michael holds more than 25 patents across multiple technical domains, including sequencing, enzymology, instrumentation, and surface chemistry, has published over 35 papers, and is one of the core scientists driving the development of high-dimensional multi-omics.
Shi Leming
Professor, School of Life Sciences and Affiliated Cancer Hospital, Fudan University; Shanghai International Human

Professor at the School of Life Sciences and the Affiliated Cancer Hospital of Fudan University; Dean of the Shanghai International Human Phenome Institute; National Distinguished Expert (2010); Shanghai Pudong New Area Mingzhu Peak Talent (2024); Principal Investigator for National Key R&D Program Projects (2019 and 2023). Dedicated to ensuring the high quality and reliability of multi-omics data, mining biomarkers for disease prevention, diagnosis, and treatment, thereby improving the success rate of new drug development and the clinical efficacy of pharmaceuticals. Co-founder of Shenzhen Chipscreen Biosciences (688321.SH); co-inventor of Chidamide (a Class 1.1 novel anti-cancer drug) and Chiglitazar Sodium (a Class 1.1 novel anti-diabetic drug). Served as a Senior Principal Investigator at the U.S. FDA for over ten years; initiated the international MAQC Consortium for omics data quality control and related international societies, prompting Nature Publishing Group to publish five special issues on the topic. Developed the world’s first set of multi-omics reference materials, establishing a new paradigm for ratio-based quantitative multi-omics measurement that addresses domain-wide challenges in batch effects and data integration. Contributed to achieving precise molecular subtyping and targeted therapy for triple-negative breast cancer, significantly improving patient survival. Led or participated in the formulation of five ISO standards for omics and FDA guidelines; holds 10 authorized international invention patents; has published more than 200 papers (including 20 in Nature Biotechnology), with over 20,000 SCI citations and an h-index of 70. Earned a Bachelor’s degree from Hunan University (Analytical Chemistry, 1985) and a Master’s degree from the University of Science and Technology of China (Computational Chemistry, 1991).
Chen Nan
Founder & General Manager, Nanjing Keluosi Biotechnology Co., Ltd.

Dr. Nan Chen received his Ph.D. in Chemical Biology from Peking University in January 2019, under the supervision of Professor Chu Wang. He subsequently conducted postdoctoral research at The Rockefeller University in the United States. In March 2021, he returned to China and co-founded Nanjing Keluosi Biotechnology Co., Ltd. together with Professor Chu Wang and Academician Zijian Guo. Since 2022, he has served as an off-campus mentor for professional degree graduate students at Nanjing University and has received support from initiatives such as Jiangsu Province’s “Mass Entrepreneurship and Innovation Plan” for entrepreneurial talent.
Dr. Chen Nan has long been dedicated to the development of chemical proteomics technologies and their applications in small-molecule drug discovery and mechanistic studies. He has published more than 20 academic papers, filed 17 domestic patent applications (with 7 granted), and holds 2 PCT international patents.

Has published more than 170 SCI-indexed papers in prestigious journals such as Cell, with a cumulative impact factor exceeding 1,900. Has received multiple awards from international societies and journals. Possesses a strong background in industrialization, having filed over 50 patents and collaborated with numerous domestic and international biotechnology companies, Grade A tertiary hospitals, and medical institutions. Has secured regulatory approval for more than 50 medical devices. Led initiatives that won the Gold Award for Outstanding Innovative Products in In Vitro Diagnostics in China, the Special Gold Award at the China University Technology Transfer Fair, the First Prize for Technological Invention in Shanghai, the Chinese Medical Science and Technology Award, and the Huaxia Medical Science and Technology Award.
The leadership team focuses on the translational medical applications of molecular group engineering, involving the interdisciplinary integration of biology, materials science, instrumentation, algorithms, chemistry, and medicine. Their work covers three main research directions: multi-omics interface design, intelligent detection hardware and software, and life system reprogramming, which hold significant theoretical importance and practical value. Driven by the practical needs of clinical medical applications and exploration of biological mechanisms, molecular group engineering has broad application prospects in the early in vitro diagnosis and monitoring of major diseases, making it a highly challenging and promising interdisciplinary field.
Wang Ling
Proteomics and Multi-omics Application Expert, Shanghai Yisuan Biotechnology Co., Ltd.

With 16 years of experience in omics data analysis and mining, I have long focused on the translational application of proteomics and multi-omics technologies in clinical precision medicine. I have been deeply involved in the design and execution of multiple high-impact research projects, cumulatively supporting clients in publishing more than 50 papers in prestigious international journals such as Nature Communications, Advanced Science, and EMBO Molecular Medicine.
She is well-versed in automated preprocessing workflows for large-scale proteomic data and high-performance mass spectrometry platforms. She excels in conducting multidimensional integrated data analysis driven by clinical questions, encompassing proteomics, phosphoproteomics, glycoproteomics, genomics, and metabolomics. In recent years, she has successfully led and implemented multiple large-cohort clinical research projects, demonstrating expertise in rapidly and accurately uncovering the latent value of omics data to develop high-quality clinical application solutions.
Wang Jiawei
Head of Bioinformatics, Shanghai OrigiMed Biotechnology Co., Ltd.

Head of Bioinformatics at Xuzhenda, graduated from East China Normal University, with over 10 years of experience in bioinformatics analysis. Previously served as a Bioinformatics Engineer at the Shanghai Institutes for Biological Sciences, Chinese Academy of Sciences. Long-term responsibility for data analysis in tumor genomics, transcriptomics, and epigenomics, including biomarker identification and prognostic correlation analyses in multiple large-scale tumor genomic studies. Led the development of several bioinformatics tools, platforms, and products, possessing extensive experience in NGS data processing and application. Collaborated with clients on research into molecular subtyping of esophageal cancer and heterogeneity of lung cancer, with related findings published in journals such as Cancer Cell, Nature Communications, and Cell Research. Holds three patents. Awarded the title of "Chief Technician" of Pudong New Area in 2024.
