Alibaba Health and Innovent Biologics Forge Strategic Partnership to Build a Full-Cycle Scientific Weight Management Ecosystem

On August 13, AliHealth and Innovent Bio signed a strategic cooperation agreement in Hangzhou. The two parties will engage in in-depth collaboration across multiple fields, including post-diagnosis disease management, supply chain, and digital marketing, to provide consumers with affordable and accessible pharmaceutical and health management services.

As a leading biopharmaceutical company in China, Innovent Bio has launched 16 innovative drugs, covering areas such as oncology, autoimmune diseases, metabolic disorders, and ophthalmic diseases. Since the beginning of this year, the two parties have engaged in deep collaboration in the field of scientific weight management. Following the approval and launch of Mazdutide Injection, Innovent Bio’s next-generation weight-loss medication, appointment services were immediately made available on the AliHealth platform.

Under the agreement, both parties will deepen their collaboration in areas such as post-diagnosis disease management, supply chain, and digital marketing.

In post-diagnosis disease management, we will jointly develop a home-based post-diagnosis disease management system, encompassing medication guidance, lifestyle counseling, and companion-style services, to provide patients with a comprehensive "prevention–diagnosis/treatment–management" full-cycle health management solution.

In terms of supply chain systems, AliHealth provides customized supply chain solutions for GLP-1 and other medications requiring cold-chain distribution at 2–8°C, ensuring compliant storage and safe, effective delivery to users.

In the realm of digital marketing, both parties will collaborate to provide services such as science-based weight loss education, weight management clinics, and online appointment booking. By delivering accurate and easily understandable weight loss knowledge across multiple scenarios, they aim to facilitate early diagnosis and treatment for patients, thereby promoting scientific weight management.
