In 2025, China’s first stem cell therapeutic drug was successfully launched, a milestone that marks the entry of China’s clinical translation and application of stem cells into a new era. Concurrently, the industry is placing greater emphasis on research into quality standards for stem cell drugs and the development of control systems. Currently, various provinces and municipalities across China are actively introducing policies to foster the growth of the stem cell industry. Chongqing is accelerating its “416” technological innovation layout, with the stem cell industry serving as a crucial pillar for establishing itself as a highland for life science innovation. Leveraging abundant expert and clinical resources, a solid scientific research foundation, and high-level innovation platforms, Chongqing is focusing on “quality control and evaluation of stem cell drugs.” It is accelerating the construction of a full-chain stem cell industrial ecosystem encompassing “basic research–clinical validation–intelligent manufacturing and application,” striving to become a powerful magnet for the development of the stem cell industry.
Under the auspices of the Stem Cell Biology Branch of the Chinese Society for Cell Biology, relevant municipal departments of Chongqing, and the Administrative Committee of the High-Tech Zone, and in conjunction with the 15th Annual Conference of the Chinese Society for Stem Cells (October 9–12, 2025) held in Chongqing, the 2nd Jinfeng Stem Cell Forum — Quality Control and Industry Development Conference will grandly convene at the Chongqing Science Hall on October 9–10, 2025.
