Inaugural Weibo Health & Medical Festival to Kick Off in Shanghai

The inaugural “2025 Weibo Health & Medical Gala,” jointly hosted by the Shanghai Health Promotion Center, Shanghai Health Channel, and Weibo Health, and guided by the Shanghai Municipal Health Commission, will grandly open on September 20 (Saturday) at the Shanghai International Fashion Center.

Advancing the “Healthy China 2030” strategy requires the collaborative participation of diverse social forces. As a representative internet platform, Weibo Health leverages its advantages of broad reach, rapid dissemination, and strong interactivity, serving as a key vehicle for facilitating the implementation of this strategy. Centered on the theme “Health Without Borders: Reshaping Medical Information,” and guided by the vision of “Borderless Space, Borderless Cognition, and Borderless Populations,” this gala brought together more than 300 guests, including medical industry societies and associations, leading Weibo Health content creators, influential media outlets, and celebrities from the cultural and sports sectors. Participants engaged in discussions on increasing the supply of high-quality health science popularization content, establishing benchmarks for health communication, and purifying the information dissemination environment, thereby comprehensively supporting the enhancement of residents’ health literacy.

This gala will center on themes such as “Social Responsibility,” “Empowering Healthcare in the New Era,” and “Industry Opportunities and Challenges,” facilitating in-depth discussions and exchanges while sharing cutting-edge research findings and practical experiences.
