Recently, according to the official website of the Renhua County People's Government in Shaoguan City, Guangdong Province, Renhua County officially held the groundbreaking ceremony for the Bio-based (Bamboo-based) New Materials Composite Industrial Park project.

According to reports, the Bio-based (Bamboo-based) New Material Composite Industrial Park ProjectTotal Investment7.2¥100 million, planned land area150mu, leveraging biomanufacturing technologies and neural networksAISystem, utilizing Renhua moso bamboo as the raw material to createChina's First5“10,000-ton-scale bio-based (bamboo-based) polymer materials”Lighthouse Factory”。

Upon commencement of operations, the project is expected to achieve an annual output value of10100 million yuan, which will effectively promote the quality improvement and efficiency enhancement, as well as the transformation and upgrading of Renhua’s bamboo industry, thereby advancing the high-quality development of the “Hundreds, Thousands, and Ten Thousands Project.”

This project leverages the abundant moso bamboo resources in the Shaoguan region, utilizing the proprietary biomanufacturing technology, integrated equipment, and neural network developed independently by Jun’an Green New Materials Technology (Guangzhou) Co., Ltd.AISystem for Producing High-Value-Added Bamboo-Based Polymer Materials,The products are widely used in high-end sectors such as batteries, automotive, aerospace, biopharmaceuticals, and modern agriculture.

The project is a pioneer.VillageTownCountyThree-Tier Linked Development Model: County-level coordination, with a central factory as the chain leader, attracts downstream enterprises to cluster and form green industrial clusters; township collaboration involves establishing front-end factories to achieve localized raw material collection, primary processing, and employment; village-level self-sustaining growth drives collective income increases and cultivates new professional farmers through bamboo forest nurturing, bamboo procurement, and skills training.

It is reported that bamboo holds significant application prospects in the field of new biomaterials. For instance, a research team from the Institute of Wood Industry of the Chinese Academy of Forestry recently employed innovative multi-scale interface engineering technology to deconstruct and reassemble bamboo, transforming it into high-strength, deformable, and biodegradable bamboo cellulose-based structural materials. Its comprehensive performance surpasses that of traditional petroleum-based plastics.

Currently, new bamboo-based biomaterials have entered the industrial stage, with Sichuan Province’s output value10A bamboo-based new material project worth hundreds of millions of yuan is being implemented.

2024In [Year], Dazhu County, Dazhou City, Sichuan Province, introduced the project constructed by Sichuan Xingzhu Bio-based New Materials Co., Ltd.3010,000-ton Bio-based New Material Production Project2025Year1Month, Issue 110The 10,000-ton bamboo-based new material production line has been put into operation.

Sichuan Province: Total Planned Investment for the Project33100 million yuan, total land area800more than one mu.Total Land Area of Phase I110mu, including production workshops for bamboo hemp fiber, bamboo winding, and bamboo original long fiber, with a total investment of approximately7.5100 million yuan.Upon completion, the project will have an annual production capacity of10Bio-based New Material Production Line with an Annual Capacity of Over 10,000 Tons, Projected Annual Output Value10100 million yuan.

In comparison, Renhua County also possesses natural advantages in this field, with its bamboo forest planting area nearing4510,000 mu, hailed as"Hometown of Moso Bamboo in China", the bamboo industry boasts significant advantages and immense potential for development.

Furthermore, Jun’an Company, which is collaborating with Renhua County in this initiative, is a benchmark enterprise in the biomanufacturing industry. Amid the trend where petrochemical materials are gradually being replaced by renewable, non-food-based bio-based polymer materials, Jun’an Company has taken a global lead in the high-value utilization of non-food biomass. The company’s technological breakthroughs lie in raw material innovation, avoiding the use of food resources and achieving efficient resource utilization by leveraging agricultural and forestry waste.

In addition to bamboo-based biomaterials, Jun’an Company has also engaged in in-depth cooperation with Renhua in the agricultural sector.

2025Year8In May, Jun’an New Materials officially signed a cooperation agreement with the Agriculture and Rural Affairs Bureau of Renhua County. The two parties will jointly promote the use of bio-based fertilizers and bio-based pesticides developed and manufactured by Jun’an Company, thereby supporting the development of green agriculture.

According to the agreement,Renhua County Agriculture and Rural Affairs Bureau will take the lead in organizing1000mu of rice,1000mu of melons and fruits,1000Pilot Application in the Mu-Scale Vegetable Planting Area, covering multiple representative agricultural production areas across the county. To ensure the objectivity and authority of the experimental data, the County Agriculture and Rural Affairs Bureau commissioned a third-party professional institution to track and record key data throughout the crop growth cycle, including soil indicators, pest and disease control efficacy, yield, and quality changes.

Upon completion of the trial period, if performance meets established standards, bio-based products will be promoted countywide and will gradually replace conventional chemical fertilizers and pesticides.

According to reports, Junan Company’s bio-based fertilizers and pesticides use natural ingredients such as plant proteins and plant polysaccharides as raw materials. Through advanced biotechnology, they are formulated into fully nutritious ionic foliar fertilizers, eliminating chemically synthesized components and hormone additives found in traditional chemical fertilizers and pesticides.
