San Jose, California, USA, October 16, 2025 – BridGene Biosciences, Inc. (“BridGene”), a clinical-stage biotechnology company focused on developing novel small-molecule therapeutics targeting traditionally “undruggable” targets, today announced that it has recently completed a $28 million Series B+ financing round. The round was led by Bayland Capital, with participation from GTJA Investment Group, Proxima Capital, and existing investors LapamCapital and Grains Valley Capital.

The proceeds from this financing round will be primarily used to advance the clinical development of the company’s core candidate drug, BGC-515. BGC-515 is a covalent TEAD inhibitor targeting solid tumors; it is currently in Phase I clinical trials and is scheduled to initiate Phase II clinical studies in the near future. Additionally, the funds will support advancing the company’s second pipeline project into the clinical stage by 2027 and accelerate the subsequent pipeline layout in the fields of oncology and autoimmune diseases.

Meanwhile, this round of financing will further strengthen BridGene’s strategic collaboration capabilities and continue to drive the broad application potential of its independently developed IMTAC™ (Isobaric Mass-Tagged Affinity Characterization) chemical proteomics platform in oncology, immunology, neuroscience, and other fields.

Dr. Ping Cao, Co-Founder and CEO of BridGene Biosciences“The financing provides the company with critical resources to accelerate the Phase II clinical development of its core asset, BGC-515. This round will not only support advancing additional pipeline projects targeting undruggable targets into clinical stages, but also help us expand the application boundaries of our IMTAC™ platform through strategic collaborations, truly translating scientific discoveries into innovative therapies that benefit patients.”

Su Yuexing, Senior Partner at Bayland Capital“We are delighted to lead this round of financing for BridGene Biosciences. BridGene’s IMTAC™ platform represents a powerful and differentiated new paradigm in drug discovery, enabling the company to develop small-molecule drugs targeting proteins long considered ‘undruggable.’ As its pipeline advances, exemplified by the covalent TEAD inhibitor BGC-515, and as multiple projects expand into therapeutic areas such as oncology and autoimmune diseases, we believe BridGene holds significant potential to deliver transformative therapies to patients and create long-term value in the biopharmaceutical industry.”

About BridGene Biosciences

BridGene Biosciences is an innovative biotechnology company dedicated to the discovery and development of novel small-molecule drugs targeting traditionally “undruggable” targets. The company’s independently developed IMTAC™ (Isobaric Mass-Tagged Affinity Characterization) chemical proteomics platform enables the screening of small-molecule interactions with the entire proteome in live cells, precisely identifying novel binding sites to discover candidate drug molecules with high clinical value.

Currently, BridGene boasts a diversified R&D pipeline. BGC-515, a covalent TEAD inhibitor undergoing clinical studies for solid tumors, is the company’s first candidate to enter clinical development, preliminarily validating the robust capability of its IMTAC™ platform in identifying “undruggable” targets. Leveraging this platform, the company has laid out multiple innovative projects in the fields of oncology and autoimmune diseases.

BridGene integrates chemical biology with translational medicine to continuously pioneer new therapeutic pathways, committed to delivering transformative innovative therapies to patients worldwide.
