Reprogenix Bioscience, established in 2014, has built a comprehensive technological framework spanning from cellular reprogramming to functional tissue transplantation. This framework encompasses end-to-end capabilities in basic research, cell line establishment, directed differentiation, quality control, and clinical validation. The system is underpinned by three core proprietary technologies: chemical reprogramming-induced pluripotent stem cells (CiPSC), directed differentiation technology, and anterior rectus sheath transplantation protocols. Leveraging these technologies, Reprogenix Bioscience has further developed an AI-driven virtual cell modeling platform to enable intelligent design of differentiation pathways and optimization of quality control, significantly enhancing R&D efficiency and production controllability. This provides robust support for advancing the industrialization of regenerative medicine innovations toward greater efficiency and precision.

In terms of product pipeline layout, Hangzhou Reprogenix Bioscience, Inc. has established multiple pipelines in the field of diabetes, covering the two core indications of type 1 and type 2 diabetes. Among them, RGB-5088, the flagship product for type 1 diabetes, has been approved to enter Phase I clinical trials, marking a leading position in China; meanwhile, the clinical trial application for its type 2 diabetes pipeline has been accepted by the NMPA and is poised to enter the clinical research stage.

According to Hangzhou Reprogenix Bioscience, Inc., a clinical study conducted in collaboration with its partners on the use of autologous regenerated islets for the treatment of type 1 diabetes has achieved functional cures in multiple patients. Following the publication of the data and findings from this clinical study, it was hailed as the “world’s first” by the prestigious international academic journal Nature. Furthermore, RGB-5088 Islet Cell Injection, independently developed by Hangzhou Reprogenix Bioscience, Inc., is the first regenerative therapy product for type 1 diabetes in China to receive Investigational New Drug (IND) approval from the National Medical Products Administration (NMPA), and has been included in the national key R&D program’s special project on “Stem Cell Research and Organ Repair.”
