New Drug Innovation Fund

International Investment Platform Institution
Recently, OMIX Science announced the completion of a Series A financing round exceeding 100 million RMB. Following its Pre-A round, the company has achieved a more than five-fold increase in financing scale within one year.
This round was jointly led by Shenzhen Capital Group and Fosun Pharma (Fosun Health Capital), with continued participation from leading investment institutions, industry chain leaders, and multiple local government investment platforms, including Taiping Equity, Guangdong Traditional Chinese Medicine Health Fund, and HIIG. At the same time, the company has established deep technology transfer collaboration mechanisms with several world-class research institutions, including Shenzhen Bay Laboratory, forming a full-chain framework covering technology research and development, clinical application, and industrial ecosystem empowerment.
The funds from this round will be strategically used to deepen the development of next-generation bio-intelligence infrastructure based on "AI plus multi-omics multimodal analysis," to build a strategic core platform driven by the closed loop of "data, large model, and agent," to promote the large-scale application of multi-disease screening agents (OS-TuFEst®), and to drive the exponential accumulation of high-throughput, standardized biological data.
Building on this foundation, the company will leverage multi-omics multimodal data modeling to deeply develop agents across multiple domains, rapidly achieving a self-evolving growth flywheel of "low-cost experimentation, acquisition of larger-scale data, iteration of more complex models, expansion to more indications, and even lower-cost experimentation." This will systematically break through the long-standing bottleneck in the AI4S field of data scale growth constrained by experimental costs, and further build a next-generation AI4S paradigm platform technology system driven by "real-world data plus AI scientists," capable of dynamic evolution and mechanistic inference, realizing the digital reconstruction of the entire prevention, screening, diagnosis, and treatment pathway for major complex diseases.
OMIX Science was co-founded by three young Ph.D. scientists who returned from Harvard University. It is an emerging AI4S technology company focused on large model-based individual health trend prediction and disease intervention. Based on its deep participation in international big science programs such as ICGC, TCGA, and PCAWG, the company's core team possesses a key barrier of biological know-how, consistently using AI plus multi-omics multimodal as its core technology foundation to drive the cutting-edge integration of AI and life sciences. Through functional region screening and feature engineering, the company has pioneered a multi-omics multimodal core algorithm better suited to East Asian populations, significantly reducing the cost per test while achieving efficient extraction and large-scale accumulation of high-value biological information.
As a National High-Tech Enterprise, OMIX Science has participated in undertaking national AI innovation hub construction tasks, National Major Science and Technology Projects (including the "Four Major Chronic Diseases" initiative), major science and technology projects of Zhejiang Province, and major projects of Shenzhen City. It has been selected for multiple-level programs including the Shenzhen Outstanding Technological Innovation Talent Training Program, and has accumulated over 60 intellectual property rights and participated in the development of two industry standards.
Currently, OMIX Science has established core research and development centers and medical testing laboratories in the Greater Bay Area and the Yangtze River Delta. It is continuously conducting multi-center, large-scale clinical cohort studies focused on various major complex diseases such as cancer and neurodegenerative diseases, and has established a stable clinical research collaboration network with more than 50 top-tier hospitals in China and over 100 physical examination institutions.
At the same time, OMIX Science's related business has maintained rapid growth over the past year. It has established long-term partnerships with multiple leading domestic medical institutions, pharmaceutical companies, and consumer health companies, continuously empowering hospitals, pharmaceutical companies, insurance providers, and government entities across the upstream and downstream of the broader health industry.
Taking the screening field as an example, the company has pioneered a new paradigm and product for breast cancer blood-based diagnosis and treatment (OS-TuFEst-BRCA): a single tube of blood simultaneously achieves ultra-high sensitivity prediction for very early screening, molecular subtyping, and lymph node metastasis. OS-TuFEst-BRCA achieves early screening sensitivity of 92 to 95 percent, with an identification rate for imaging-missed cases of 96.2 percent. For molecular subtyping, it accurately distinguishes the three major types, with an accuracy of 85.7 percent for metastatic subtyping. The negative predictive value for lymph node metastasis is 97.6 percent, which is expected to significantly reduce unnecessary surgeries and fill the global gap in blood-based early screening and precision diagnosis and treatment for breast cancer.
For hospitals, this achievement is like a "wall breaker" that breaks through the bottleneck of translation, innovatively establishing the closed loop of "paper, patent, funding, first unit, product, and commercialization." This achievement has also been prominently featured by more than ten major domestic and international technology media outlets, including MIT Technology Review.
Currently, OMIX Science has achieved technological innovation and application breakthroughs in multiple key areas, including disease screening, new drug research and development, health management, and public health. It has developed a series of products for different application scenarios and has further evolved higher-precision specialized subtyping products and customized solutions targeting specific diseases or niche needs. It has established partnerships with multiple local governments and listed industry chain leaders (including Fosun Pharma), with services covering more than 100 institutions under their networks, successfully achieving market adoption.
With product-based application as a key focus, the company continuously accumulates high-value data in real market scenarios, driving the accelerated operation of the "data growth, model iteration, and product upgrade" cycle.
Following the completion of this financing round, OMIX Science will further increase its investment in building a top-tier talent system at the intersection of artificial intelligence and healthcare, promoting the coordinated development of multi-omics multimodal data modeling, large models, and agent capabilities. At the same time, the company will further promote the scenario-based implementation of multiple-domain agents, achieving a high degree of standardization and scale in real-world data accumulation, thereby providing sustained data supply and model capability support for the next phase of larger-scale intelligent decision-making outputs and high-value research and development pipeline collaboration.
This year, OMIX Science will also accelerate its international strategy, continuously advancing global business expansion and ecosystem partner development, and comprehensively enhancing its market penetration capabilities and brand influence in international markets.
