Recent monitoring by the Chinese Center for Disease Control and Prevention indicates that influenza is currently at high epidemic levels in 17 provinces across China. The positivity rate for influenza-like illness cases in outpatient and emergency departments has reached 51%, with experts predicting that the national influenza peak will occur in mid-December. In light of the current surge in influenza cases and the rapidly growing demand for healthcare services, ensuring the stable supply and accessibility of relevant medications has become a top priority.

In response to this situation, JD Health’s instant delivery service swiftly mobilized, joining forces with 25 renowned domestic and international pharmaceutical and health enterprises and brands—including CR SANJIU, HEC Pharm, and Kuihua Pharmaceutical—to formally establish the “Flu Medication Supply Assurance and Price Stabilization Alliance.” The alliance aims to ensure adequate supply and price stability of flu-related medications and protective supplies through industrial collaboration, fully safeguarding the public as they navigate this flu season.

The newly established “Influenza Medicine Supply Assurance and Price Stability Alliance” covers a comprehensive range of influenza prevention and treatment products, including prescription drugs, over-the-counter (OTC) medications, face masks, and disinfectant gels. Alliance members have jointly committed to leveraging JD Health’s immediate retail network for rapid medication delivery to ensure ample supply of influenza-related products and meet market demand. In response to recent isolated instances of price hikes for certain medications in the market, JD Health and its alliance partners have taken a clear stance against unreasonable price increases. They have pledged to implement strict price monitoring and management for all influenza-related medications and protective supplies currently on sale, ensuring that consumers can access these essential items at stable and fair prices.

Beyond medication availability, JD Health’s Instant Delivery service reinforces its commitment to providing healthcare support that balances “speed” and “warmth” by strengthening delivery capacity and extending services. On the logistics front, increased reserves of frontline delivery personnel further meet users’ urgent medication needs, with deliveries reaching doorsteps in as fast as 9 minutes. Regarding service experience, the well-received “complimentary warm water with each order” initiative has been comprehensively upgraded. From now until March 2026, customers in seven cities—Beijing, Tianjin, Shanghai, Hangzhou, Chengdu, Wuhan, and Changfeng—who place orders through JD Health Instant Delivery’s self-operated stores will receive a bottle of warm water with their purchase, offering tangible warmth and care during peak flu seasons.

In response to the challenges posed by the current surge in influenza cases, JD Health’s Instant Delivery service has established a comprehensive response system centered on “medication supply assurance, price stability, rapid delivery, and compassionate care” by forming an industry alliance and upgrading its delivery and service experience. JD Health’s Instant Delivery will continue to collaborate with partners across the upstream and downstream of the industrial chain, committed to helping more people navigate the flu season safely and smoothly.
