BeiGene Appoints Dr. Lai Wang as President and Global Head of R&D

This announcement did not mention any changes in the position of President and Chief Operating Officer Xiaobin Wu. According to information disclosed by BeOne Medicines,Wu Xiaobin’s position remains unchanged.。

The announcement stated that Dr. Wang Lai has served as the Company’s Global Head of Research and Development since April 2021. Prior to this, he held various R&D leadership roles with expanding responsibilities after joining the Company in 2011. Before joining the Company, Dr. Wang served as Director of Research at Joyant Pharmaceuticals, a biotechnology company based in Dallas, Texas, from 2008 to 2011. Dr. Wang received his Bachelor of Science degree from Fudan University in 1996 and his Ph.D. from the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio in 2001.

According to BeOne Medicines’ financial report, Wu Xiaobin is the former General Manager of Pfizer China and Regional President for Greater China of Pfizer Essential Health, with over 25 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry.
