JD Zhuoyi 2.0 Grandly Launched, Committed to Becoming a New Growth Engine for Hospitals

At this conference, JD Health officially launched version 2.0 of JD Zhuoyi. As the first large-model product deployed across all hospital scenarios, it has been implemented at institutions such as the First Affiliated Hospital of Wenzhou Medical University, Union Hospital affiliated with Tongji Medical College of Huazhong University of Science and Technology, and Suzhou Municipal Hospital since its launch in 2025. Having served over 5 million patient visits cumulatively, it has provided a clear pathway to addressing the challenge of uneven distribution of medical resources.

JD Zhuoyi 2.0 Achieves Core Upgrades from Version 1.0, Evolving from “Reshaping Patient Service Processes” to “Becoming a New Growth Engine for Hospitals.” The all-new JD Zhuoyi 2.0 deeply integrates JD Health’s “AI + Supply Chain” capabilities. By leveraging JoyDocBrain to establish foundational systems and ecosystem adaptability, it forms a comprehensive management solution covering three core scenarios: clinical nutrition, out-of-hospital medication, and weight metabolism. This provides hospitals with standardized, traceable, and highly efficient digital-intelligent support.

Among these initiatives, “AI + Clinical Nutrition” focuses on addressing pain points in nutritional assessment and intervention for both inpatients and outpatients, integrating nutritional therapy into traceable and evaluable clinical pathways. The “Clinical Nutrition Large Model,” jointly developed by JD Health, the First Affiliated Hospital of Wenzhou Medical University, and the National Health Commission’s Key Laboratory of Clinical Nutrition and Intervention, provides the foundational support for this solution. Built upon the industry-leading “Jingyi Qianxun” medical large model, this model has been infused with over one million high-quality professional nutrition publications and post-trained using hundreds of thousands of real-world nutrition cases provided by the First Affiliated Hospital of Wenzhou Medical University. This approach achieves specialization of the knowledge system and precise alignment with clinical practice. Leveraging the “Clinical Nutrition Large Model,” the solution can automatically assist healthcare professionals in completing nutritional risk screening, assessment, diagnosis, and the generation of personalized treatment plans. It effectively reduces patient complications and length of hospital stay, improves hospital cost-efficiency and quality performance, and realizes a closed-loop, integrated nutritional management system spanning both in-hospital and out-of-hospital care.

“AI + Pharmaceutical Management” addresses industry pain points through an “AI + End-to-End Service” model: By leveraging tools such as AI-assisted prescription review and intelligent pharmacist assistants, it frees physicians and pharmacists to focus on high-value clinical care and departmental development. It establishes an AI-powered prescription circulation platform that enables closed-loop, full-cycle management covering prescription verification, medication dispensing, home medication use, and follow-up prescribing, with AI pharmacists available 24/7 to answer patient queries. Leveraging JD’s smart logistics network, it offers diverse fulfillment options—including in-hospital pickup, same-city express delivery, and nationwide shipping—to ensure rapid and accurate medication delivery. This product not only helps hospitals systematically reduce the proportion of pharmaceutical costs and per-capita medication expenses while increasing the share of revenue from technical services and clinical care, but also significantly improves patient medication adherence and satisfaction through features such as medication reminders and push notifications for follow-up appointment slots and prescription renewals.

“AI + Weight Management” innovatively adopts a “tiered service + human-AI collaboration” model: standardized basic tasks are automated by AI, while professional physicians focus on low-frequency critical decision-making and risk management, achieving a balance between scalable service delivery and cost control. By integrating in-hospital medical data with out-of-hospital lifestyle data, it constructs comprehensive patient profiles and leverages AI technology to intelligently recommend weight management treatment plans, ensuring clinical effectiveness. Through real-time AI feedback and emotional support features, medical advice is translated into daily actionable tasks; patients receive immediate encouragement and guidance after logging their diet, exercise, and weight, thereby significantly improving adherence.

Industry Leaders Discuss Innovation: Leveraging “AI + Supply Chain” to Drive High-Quality Development in Healthcare

At the conference, multiple hospital presidents and party secretaries shared their practical experiences and forward-looking insights on AI-empowered healthcare. Liang Wannian, Tsinghua University Vanke Chair Professor and Dean and Chair Professor of the School of General Practice at Southern University of Science and Technology, delivered a keynote presentation titled “AI Empowering the Healthcare System,” analyzing how AI facilitates the construction and upgrading of healthcare systems. Shen Xian, Party Secretary of the First Affiliated Hospital of Wenzhou Medical University, provided a detailed account of practical experiences in building a standardized clinical nutrition system. Chen Yan, Deputy Party Secretary and President of Suzhou Hospital Affiliated to Nanjing Medical University (Suzhou Municipal Hospital), introduced various measures leveraging AI to promote high-quality hospital development. Additionally, Chen Shu, Director of the Outpatient Department Office at Union Hospital Affiliated to Tongji Medical College of Huazhong University of Science and Technology, and Zhou Yi, Technical Director of the Information Center at Beijing Anzhen Hospital Affiliated to Capital Medical University, shared their explorations and practical achievements in using digital intelligence to empower medical services, offering diverse practical perspectives for industry development.

At the conference, JD Health, in collaboration with The First Affiliated Hospital of Wenzhou Medical University and the Key Laboratory of Clinical Nutrition and Intervention under the National Health Commission, jointly released the “AI-Driven Standardized Full-Course Management Solution for Clinical Nutrition.” Backed by a national-level research platform as its academic foundation, grounded in real-world clinical settings at large tertiary Grade A hospitals, and powered by next-generation artificial intelligence technologies, this solution establishes a standardized and continuous management system, providing a replicable and scalable practical model for the high-quality development of clinical nutrition in China.
