2026: VCBeat’s Healthcare Large Model Livestream Continues to Deliver Exciting Content!

In early 2025, to gain a deeper understanding of the development of large language model (LLM) technology in the healthcare sector and to accelerate its adoption across various specialized scenarios, VCBeat specially organized the “AI for Life” themed live-streaming series focused on medical LLMs. Conducted as online roundtable discussions, each session invited three to four leading enterprises and industry experts from China’s LLM landscape to engage in dialogue on the current applications and future trends of LLMs within specific use cases.

By the end of 2025, we had hosted a cumulative total of 10 live-streamed events on medical large language models (LLMs), inviting more than 20 experts from hospitals, innovative enterprises, and leading foundation model providers to engage in in-depth discussions on the deployment of LLMs in specialized fields, including primary healthcare, medical imaging, drug R&D, health management, innovation in traditional Chinese medicine, pathology, pediatrics, and oncology.

Particular attention has been focused on questions such as “Will China see its own counterpart to OpenEvidence?” and “What is the optimal pathway for implementing LLMs in hospital-based scenarios?”

To this end,At 4:00 PM on February 27, the 10th session of VCBeat’s “AI for Life” special live-streaming series on large medical models featured Xie Pei, Head of the Evidence-Based Large Model at JD Health Exploration Institute; Pan Donglin, Solutions Expert at Zhizhen Technology; and Wang Zeyuan, Founder and CEO of Lingxi Medical., deconstructing the current development status, challenges, and future of large model applications among doctors and hospitals in China from dimensions such as recent trend discussions, analysis of core challenges, and insights into future trends.
