On March 23, Meinian Onehealth (002044.SZ) and Ant Health announced a comprehensive strategic partnership. Leveraging Meinian’s long-established professional health data system, its nationwide offline medical service network, and the critical AI healthcare infrastructure composed of medical diagnostic equipment and standardized medical service capabilities, both parties will jointly explore a new integrated online-offline healthcare service model. This collaboration is regarded as a deep integration of “AI health infrastructure” with the “national AI gateway for public health.”

Through strategic cooperation, both parties will jointly promote the upgrading of the service paradigm for “AI-powered healthcare.” The continuously growing healthcare demands on the Ant Health platform will synergize with Meinian’s offline medical service capabilities, driving the integration of online healthcare needs into professional medical service scenarios. This collaboration aims to build a closed-loop healthcare service system covering health screening, diagnosis and treatment services, and long-term health management, thereby deeply cultivating a future-oriented new AI-powered healthcare ecosystem.

As a leading professional health management service provider in China, Meinian Onehealth had established a network of nearly 600 examination centers by the end of 2024, serving approximately 30 million visits annually. Since its listing in 2015, the company has cumulatively served over 260 million individuals. In recent years, Meinian has continuously advanced its “All in AI” strategy, building an AI-driven health management capability system centered on health data, medical knowledge, and service scenarios. In the first three quarters of 2025, revenue from its AI-related businesses reached approximately RMB 250 million. Ant Health has been deeply engaged in the healthcare sector for over a decade. Starting with its first health insurance code payment, it now connects more than 5,000 public hospitals across China and over 300,000 real-name registered physicians. Its AI health application, “Ant Afu,” as the world’s largest health AI application, has cumulatively served over 100 million users, handling more than 10 million health consultations daily.

Deep Integration: Jointly Building the Health Service Infrastructure for the AI Healthcare Era

At the core of this collaboration is the deep integration of daily health service scenarios on digital health platforms with multi-dimensional health data, medical diagnostic logic, and offline service systems. This enables health services to extend from health consultations to professional assessments and service fulfillment, creating a more comprehensive and continuous closed-loop health management system. Leveraging Ant Health’s ecosystem—powered by Ant Afu and encompassing consultation, diagnosis, medication purchase, payment, and insurance coverage—Meinian opens up broader scenarios for daily health services. Meanwhile, Meinian’s long-accumulated health data and its standardized nationwide offline service network provide digital health services with more precise professional judgment and sustainable service delivery capabilities. Thus, the two parties achieve deep synergy characterized by mutual integration (“you within me, and me within you”). Through their business cooperation, they jointly expand user value and service depth; at the industry level, they collectively drive the transition of health management from isolated services to continuous care; and in terms of social value, they jointly contribute to the “Healthy China” initiative.

In accordance with the cooperation plan, both parties will advance collaborative innovation across multiple key scenarios. First, Meinian Onehealth’s AI assistant, “Health Xiao Mei,” will be integrated into the Ant Group’s Afu platform. By synergizing AI capabilities with professional health services, the two parties will provide users with free, precise, and easy-to-understand interpretations of medical examination reports and health risk alerts. In broader health service scenarios, they will further explore end-to-end collaboration spanning health consultations, online diagnosis, medication purchase and payment, health insurance, as well as medical examinations, screening, interventions, and long-term health management. This effort aims to extend health services from digital health settings to offline professional assessments and service fulfillment, gradually establishing a closed-loop health management system that covers the entire user health journey. Public information indicates that Ant Health has achieved extensive coverage over the past several years in scenarios such as electronic medical insurance codes, appointment registration and fee payments, and online consultation and medication purchases. Meanwhile, Meinian Onehealth has long accumulated large-scale, multi-dimensional health data, professional clinical diagnostic logic, and an authoritative medical knowledge base in the fields of medical examinations, screening, and health management. By continuously advancing its “All-in AI” strategy, Meinian has developed AI-driven health management capabilities and a nationwide offline service network. The deep integration of both parties’ capabilities is expected to propel health services from merely being “consultable” to becoming “manageable, actionable, and sustainable,” thereby further enhancing AI-driven medical and health service capabilities.

From an industry perspective, the health management sector is shifting from a traditional model centered on one-off screenings and isolated medical interventions to a continuous service system anchored in preventive medicine and long-term health management. This transition signifies that the core of industrial value is evolving from the hundred-billion-yuan physical examination market toward the trillion-yuan health management services market. In this context, AI is becoming a foundational capability connecting users with professional health services, while offline professional service networks serve as the critical infrastructure for implementing AI-driven healthcare solutions. The collaboration between Meinian Onehealth and Ant Health unfolds against this backdrop of industrial transformation: rather than merely stitching together online scenarios with offline services, it seeks to explore a new paradigm for health management in the AI era through the deep integration of health systems, AI capabilities, and service networks.

Initial Launch: AI Agent “Health Xiaomei” Integrated into Ant Group’s Afu App, Offering AI-Powered Interpretation of Health Checkup Reports

As the initial deliverable of the strategic partnership between the two parties, users who authorize “Health Xiaomei” within the Ant Afu App can instantly access their Meinian health examination reports from the past three years and obtain AI-powered interpretations. This service applies to customers of Meinian Onehealth Healthcare, Ciming Health Checkup, Ciming Aoya Health Management, and Megro Medical Health Checkup. Leveraging Meinian Health’s accumulated professional health data and medical knowledge graph, “Health Xiaomei” demonstrates three core capabilities:

● Intelligent Interpretation, Simplifying Complexity—Leveraging large language model capabilities, “Health Xiaomei” translates complex biochemical indicators and medical terminology into accessible health language. Through a dynamic risk stratification system using “red, yellow, and green” labels, it enables users to gain an instant, clear understanding of their health status.

● Evidence-based, professional, and reliable recommendations—For detected abnormal indicators, “Health Xiaomei” leverages Meinian’s extensive clinical knowledge base and evidence-based medical pathways to generate personalized health intervention plans and medical guidance. This helps users clarify their next steps, ensuring a seamless professional transition from “identifying issues” to “resolving them.”

● Dynamic Tracking, Trend Forecasting — For users with continuous health checkup records, “Health Xiaomei” leverages a multi-time-series data analysis engine to conduct cross-year trend analysis of key health indicators, identify the evolutionary trajectory of potential risks, and provide forward-looking health alerts and intervention recommendations, thereby truly enabling data-driven proactive health management.

Full-Chain Collaboration: Comprehensive Health Lifecycle Management from Physical Examinations to Consultation, Diagnosis, and Medication

It is understood that the strategic cooperation between the two parties will cover the entire chain of user health management, with collaborative innovation to be advanced in multiple key scenarios in the future:

Prior to the medical examination, users can activate “Health Xiaomei” via the Ant Afu platform. Based on an analysis of historical examination reports, the system provides personalized recommendations for check-up items—eliminating unnecessary duplicate tests and adding key items requiring regular monitoring. If needed, users may proceed to any of Meinian Onehealth’s nearly 600 examination centers across China to undergo precise examinations.

● During health checkups, Meinian Onehealth’s standardized medical service network provides users with end-to-end support: “Health Xiao Mei” assists with intelligent navigation within the checkup center and sends reminders of important instructions, while Meinian’s professional offline medical team and standardized equipment ensure the quality and experience of every examination.

● Following the health examination, in addition to the initially launched AI-powered report interpretation, users requiring further intervention can consult with licensed physicians via the platform’s online consultation service and purchase and administer medications as prescribed. For users needing in-depth screening or long-term health management, Meinian Onehealth’s offline service network will continue to provide follow-up re-examinations, interventions, and health management services. Both parties will gradually explore end-to-end synergy spanning health consultation, online medical consultations, medication purchase and payment, health insurance coverage, as well as physical examinations, screening, interventions, and long-term health management, thereby enabling genuine bidirectional empowerment between the online traffic entry point and the offline professional service network.

At the press conference announcing the strategic partnership, Yu Rong, Chairman of Meinian Onehealth, stated: “The value of health management should not be limited to a single physical examination or medical consultation, but should permeate the user’s long-term health journey. Meinian’s professionally accumulated health data, medical diagnostic equipment, standardized medical service capabilities, and its nationwide offline service network constitute the most critical infrastructure in the era of AI-driven healthcare. By integrating these strengths with Ant Health’s advantages in digital ecosystems, AI capabilities, and daily health service scenarios, we can transform health services from static screening to dynamic management, and from one-off interactions to long-term companionship. This is not merely an additive combination of capabilities, but a systematic upgrade of health management models achieved through the deep integration of digital entry points, professional clinical judgment, and offline service systems.”

Zhang Junjie, President of Ant Health, stated, “AI is becoming a key gateway for users to access health services. Our collaboration with Meinian Onehealth has forged a tighter connection between digital health entry points and professional health service networks. Through this partnership, we aim to enable more users to identify health risks earlier in their daily lives and gain easier access to high-quality, sustainable health management services.”

Strategic Outlook: Co-Creating the Future Landscape of AI in Healthcare

From a long-term strategic perspective, the potential of the partnership between the two parties can be summarized across three levels. The first level involves jointly strengthening the infrastructure for health services in the era of AI-driven healthcare. By integrating Ant Health’s daily health service scenarios with Meinian’s offline health service network, the two parties will collectively establish a health service infrastructure that combines digital access points, professional clinical judgment, and standardized service fulfillment capabilities. The second level entails co-building an AI-powered healthcare service platform. As the links across physical examinations, consultations, diagnoses, medication purchases, payments, insurance coverage, and health management become further interconnected, both parties will work together to upgrade health services from single-point interactions into a data-driven, continuously evolving AI healthcare service platform. The third level focuses on exploring the deep integration of digital services and health management systems around the innovative concept of “life asset management.” Leveraging AI and data capabilities, they aim to elevate health services from episodic medical interventions to long-term value management, thereby opening up new service tracks and development opportunities in the trillion-dollar healthcare market.

It is widely recognized within the industry that, against the backdrop of an aging population, the high prevalence of chronic diseases, and the continuous rise in public health awareness, the emerging healthcare services sector—centered on preventive medicine and long-term health management—is ushering in significant development opportunities. As AI capabilities, digital health ecosystems, and offline professional service systems become further integrated, health services are poised to extend beyond traditional medical frameworks, thereby expanding the industry’s boundaries. The collaboration between Meinian Onehealth and Ant Health provides a new industry benchmark for the evolution of the health services sector in the era of AI-driven healthcare.
