Dr. Ji Yongnan is responsible for the implementation of NVIDIA’s technology platform within China’s healthcare industry. Prior to joining NVIDIA, he worked on the research, development, and deployment of AI algorithms and applications at companies and institutions including Tencent, GE Healthcare, Toshiba Medical Systems, and Samsung Research. Dr. Ji earned his degree from the University of Nottingham in the United Kingdom. He is an expert in medical imaging and artificial intelligence applications, having authored dozens of academic papers and core patents spanning interdisciplinary fields such as medical imaging and AI-driven image analysis.

Dr. Weiping Liu

Senior Director, Shanghai MicroPort MedBot (Group) Co., Ltd.


Dr. Liu Weiping oversees the research and development of image-guided navigation and artificial intelligence products at MicroPort MedBot. He possesses 13 years of experience in the R&D and management of medical imaging, surgical navigation, artificial intelligence, and surgical robotics within the industry. He has previously engaged in the development of intelligent algorithms and clinical applications at Philips Research China, Shanghai Siemens Medical Devices, and Fosun Group’s Xingmai Technology. Dr. Liu led the development of intelligent diagnostic systems for pulmonary nodules, coronary arteries, FFRCT, and stroke. He has conducted R&D in the field of surgical robotics, completing the development of multiple planning and navigation products for interventional robots, and has performed numerous ex vivo and animal experiments on automated surgery in the realm of embodied AI. He earned his Ph.D. from the Department of Automation, specializing in Pattern Recognition and Intelligent Systems, at the School of Electronic Information and Electrical Engineering, Shanghai Jiao Tong University. Dr. Liu is an expert in medical imaging and AI applications. He was awarded the title of Senior Engineer (Professional) in the field of Artificial Intelligence under the Shanghai Engineering Series in 2019. He has published dozens of academic papers and core patents covering interdisciplinary fields such as medical imaging, artificial intelligence, computer vision, and surgical robotics.
