In 2026, medical artificial intelligence is transitioning from “breakthroughs in isolated technologies” to “deep intelligent integration.”
In this context, the Special Session on Medical AI and the 3rd Symposium on Large Language Models for Medicine (LLaMMs), a key thematic session of the “2026 Global Artificial Intelligence Technology Conference,” will be officially held in Hangzhou, Zhejiang Province, from May 22 to 24.This conference is hosted by the Chinese Association for Artificial Intelligence, and co-organized by Zhejiang University School of Medicine, Zhejiang Provincial Association for Artificial Intelligence, and Quanzhentong.

Led by two academicians, gathering presidents of top-tier (Grade 3A) hospitals, and attended by over 300 industry experts, this premier medical AI summit—featuring 22 keynote speeches, 4 roundtable discussions, 6 mentor-led workshops, and on-site visits to two benchmark hospitals—is set to convene, truly addressing the realms of clinical practice, management, industry, and cutting-edge innovation.

Platform Upgrade: Top-Tier Industry Power Fuels Broader Ecosystem Connectivity
From the organizers to the co-organizers, this conference brings together top-tier expertise from both the artificial intelligence and healthcare sectors, offering attendees a higher-dimensional industry perspective and broader opportunities for resource networking.
Led by Academicians: Dual Perspectives from Basic Principles to Clinical Research Offer Insights into the Future
This conference is led by two top academicians, Huang Hefeng and Zhang Yi.

Academician Huang Hefeng has long been dedicated to research on reproductive health and the prevention and control of birth defects. At the event, she will deliver a presentation tentatively titled “Artificial Intelligence Empowering Medical Research,” sharing how AI provides solutions to complex medical problems and revealing new paradigms and opportunities in medical research enabled by AI.

Academician Zhang Yi possesses profound expertise in the fundamental theories and applications of artificial intelligence. At the event, he will deliver a presentation tentatively titled “Fundamental Principles and Prospects of Large Models,” providing an in-depth interpretation of the core principles and technological evolution of large medical models, while offering a forward-looking analysis of their future development trends and broad prospects.
Practical topics, directly addressing core pain points and covering multiple application scenarios
The conference featured 22 keynote speeches and four panel discussions, with topics that went beyond generalities to directly address the core pain points in current medical artificial intelligence:
Applications and Innovations of Large Medical Models in Practice
Opportunities and Challenges of Artificial Intelligence in Hospital Informatics and Medical Quality Management
AI-Empowered Medical Research/Clinical Care
Building an Autonomous AI Neural Network for Hospitals
AI-Empowered High-Quality Development of Hospitals (General Tertiary Hospitals/Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospitals/Children’s Hospitals/Hospitals in Free Trade Zones)
AI Empowering County-Level Medical Consortia
AI-Empowered Private Healthcare
These topics not only encompass multiple application scenarios of medical artificial intelligence but also align closely with the practical realities of hospital management, directly addressing pain points in clinical applications and the needs for industrial collaboration, thereby combining strategic height with practical depth.
Diverse Formats: Workshops + Hospital Observations + Outcome Presentations, Breaking the Cycle of "Armchair Strategy"
In addition to featuring keynote addresses by academicians, 22 thematic speeches, and four roundtable dialogues to thoroughly explore core issues in medical artificial intelligence, the conference has also carefully curated a variety of interactive sessions:
Clinical Observation: Step into two benchmark hospitals to witness firsthand the phased implementation achievements of AI in real-world hospital settings
Hands-on Practice: A hands-on workshop on practical applications of large medical AI models, with on-site mentoring by six instructors providing step-by-step guidance on large model implementation
Achievement Release: Four Major Innovative Achievements Make Their Debut, Showcasing Breakthroughs in Cutting-Edge Technologies
Registration is now open; we sincerely invite your participation.
From technological innovation to clinical application, from hospital management to private healthcare provision, from individual efforts to industrial collaboration, and from theoretical foundations to real-world practice, this conference represents a true industry-wide co-creation effort that is practice-oriented and future-focused.
