Assisted Reproductive Technology Service Provider
On May 8, Meituan Medicine and Health and JINXIN FERTILITY officially signed a strategic cooperation agreement in Chengdu. The two parties will engage in deep collaborative product development in the field of reproductive health services, jointly promote the construction of standardized capabilities in reproductive health, and explore new models of fertility-friendly services.
Currently, the structure of fertility-related demand is undergoing profound changes. Data shows that the annual growth rate for infertility-related services is approximately 15%, while the annual growth rate for preventive examinations related to preconception and prenatal care exceeds 20%. The proportion of users of advanced maternal age preparing for pregnancy has risen from approximately 18% in 2018 to about 28% in 2024. In terms of specific needs, reproductive health is evolving from a singular focus on medical diagnosis and treatment toward full-cycle services covering “screening, diagnosis and treatment, decision-making, and long-term management,” with users’ awareness of proactive health management continuously strengthening. Since the beginning of this year, demand for preventive examination categories on the Meituan platform has grown particularly prominently; the number of transacting users driven by search channels increased by 31.3% year-on-year, making it one of the fastest-growing categories on the platform.
Demand for preventive gynecological examinations among women of childbearing age is rapidly awakening. However, the current supply suffers from incomplete examination items, outdated screening mechanisms, and poor patient experience, leaving users grappling with pain points such as information opacity, service uncertainty, and high decision-making costs. Women who are preparing for pregnancy or are already pregnant generally lack professional medical guidance and mostly rely on personal experiences shared on social media platforms, which easily leads to misjudgment. Furthermore, there is a lack of standardized methods to present and compare the diagnostic and treatment capabilities and technical approaches of different institutions. Coupled with the long cycle and high cost of trial and error inherent in fertility decisions, this creates an urgent demand for professional, trustworthy, one-stop standardized services.
Against this backdrop, Meituan Medical Health and JINXIN FERTILITY are shifting from a previous collaboration model centered on traffic distribution to one of deep synergy focused on user needs and experience. By co-developing products and reengineering processes, they aim to enhance the comprehensibility and predictability of their services. This partnership will pioneer significant explorations with user service at its core. Specifically, both parties will address the real pain points users encounter in reproductive health examinations, systematically deconstructing and reconstructing service workflows to establish a more deterministic service solution.
On the day of signing, both parties also launched a public welfare initiative for reproductive health, extending professional medical services to a broader population through free clinics and science popularization. This initiative will focus on thalassemia screening, sexual health education, and fertility assessment, further enhancing public awareness and emphasis on reproductive health.
The “White Paper on the Current Development Status and Future Trends of China’s Assisted Reproductive Technology Industry in 2026,” recently released by the globally renowned consulting firm Frost & Sullivan, shows that JINXIN FERTILITY ranked first among assisted reproductive technology (ART) institutions in China in 2025 based on the number of oocyte retrieval cycles, and also maintained a leading position in brand awareness. Relying on technological innovation and optimization of diagnostic and treatment protocols, JINXIN FERTILITY is a technological leader in China’s ART industry and boasts an efficient, high-quality customer service system.
“We hope to explore more professional and transparent healthcare service standards through our collaboration with Meituan Healthcare, placing users at the core to help build a fertility-friendly society,” said Qiu Jinxin, Head of Operations at JINXIN FERTILITY.
A Meituan Healthcare executive stated that reproductive health is a field highly dependent on trust, where platforms must not only connect supply and demand but also help users establish certainty. In the future, both parties will join hands to empower women’s reproductive health with digital intelligence capabilities, leveraging the platform’s breadth to amplify the warmth of medical care.
