February 25, 2019 —Abbottand Novo Nordisk recently announced a non-exclusive partnership, with the intention of utilizing Novo Nordisk’s pre-filled, durable, connected insulin injection pens1of insulin data into Abbott's digital platformHealth ManagementTools (FreeStyle LibreLink app)2and the cloud-based LibreView3). Both parties will help patients manage their condition more effectively and conveniently through the integration of two key technologies: continuous glucose monitoring (CGM) and connected insulin injection pens.DiabetesManagement.

The collaboration between these two technologies will enable healthcare professionals, caregivers, andDiabetesPatients can view glucose and insulin data simultaneously, enabling more meaningful and productive discussions that help them make more informed treatment decisions andHealth ManagementDecision.
