(headquartered in Tokyo, Japan; current President: Haruo Naito; hereinafter referred to as "Eisai")Announced on April 24,The latest data on its dual orexin receptor antagonist, lemborexant, and its antiepileptic drug perampanel (Chinese brand name: Weiketai) will be presented at the 2019 Annual Meeting of the American Academy of Neurology (AAN). The meeting will be held from May 4 to 10, 2019, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA.

A total of 18 poster presentations on perampanel were featured, including the final analysis results of the Phase III clinical trial (Study 311) conducted in pediatric epilepsy patients aged 4 to 12 years, as well as an analysis of hospitalization risks in epilepsy patients before and after receiving perampanel treatment.
Eisai focuses on neurology as its core therapeutic area, striving to maximize the value of Lemborexant and Perampanel to further meet the diverse needs of patients and their families and enhance their well-being.
