On February 26, Danaher announced that it had reached a final agreement with General Electric Company (GE) to acquire GE’s Biopharma business under GE Life Sciences for $21.4 billion.

GE HealthCare will join Danaher’s Life Sciences segment as an independently operated company, alongside entities such as Beckman Coulter Life Sciences and IDT.
