Merck’s Massachusetts Business Units Named Among Boston Business Journal’s 'Best Places to Work'

This marks the 17th year that Boston Business Journal has published its Best Places to Work list, and it is the first time all three of Merck’s U.S. divisions in Massachusetts have received this honor. The company was awarded in the mega-sized company category, being one of only nine mega-sized companies to receive the award. The Best Places to Work award recognizes leading employers in the region who exceed standards by creating meaningful and enjoyable work environments. The selection for this award is based on internal employee survey results.

This year’s Best Places to Work companies are divided into five categories: micro (20–49 employees), small (50–99 employees), medium (100–249 employees), large (250–999 employees), and extra-large (1,000 or more employees). Merck has approximately 2,900 employees in Massachusetts.
