ECS operates nine locations in Northeastern Pennsylvania, including one surgery center, seven comprehensive eye care clinics, and Revive MedSpa. Its board-certified ophthalmologists, optometrists, and eye care specialists collectively bring more than 550 years of combined experience in treating eye diseases, and have successfully performed over 50,000 cataract surgeries over the past five decades.

ECS’s renowned team of ophthalmologists comes from an independent organization composed of local ophthalmologists, namely the Surgical Specialty Center. The Surgical Specialty Center is dedicated to providing personalized care and fostering a warm, inclusive atmosphere to reduce patients’ stress and anxiety.

Vision Innovation Partners, established in 2017 and headquartered in Annapolis, Maryland, USA, is a portfolio company of Centre Partners. The company was formed through the merger of two eye care practices led by Maria Scott and Mark Whitten, respectively: Chesapeake Eye Care and Laser Center and Whitten Laser Eye.
