Currently, the company is leveraging its neoantigen platform to develop vaccines and T-cell therapies.

Recently, the company announced the top-line results of its ongoing multicenter Phase Ib clinical study NT-001. The study evaluated Neon Therapeutics’ personalized neoantigen vaccine candidate NEO-PV-01 in combination with Bristol-Myers Squibb’s PD-1TumorImmunotherapy Opdivo (Odivo, generic name: nivolumab) for the treatment of advanced or metastaticMelanoma, efficacy and safety in patients with smoking-related non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) and bladder cancer.

Data with a median follow-up of at least 12 months showed that, in all three differentTumorAmong the types, NEO-PV-01 in combination with Opdivo demonstrated prolonged and sustained improvement in progression-free survival (PFS), showing advantages compared to checkpoint inhibitor monotherapy based on historical benchmark data.

In 34 cases of metastaticMelanomaAmong the patients, with a median follow-up of 13.4 months, the median PFS was not reached; among 27 patients with metastatic NSCLC, the median PFS was 5.6 months; and among 21 patients with metastatic bladder cancer, the median PFS was 5.6 months. Top-line data from these 82 patients support the further development of NEO-PV-01, including a randomized Phase II clinical study evaluating the drug for the treatment of metastatic disease.

Neon Therapeutics’ RECON Machine Learning Platform and the Epitope Spreading Mechanism of Neoantigen Vaccines

NEO-PV-01 is an investigational personalized neoantigen vaccine from Neon Therapeutics, custom-designed and manufactured based on each patient’s unique mutational fingerprint. NEO-PV-01 incorporates Neon Therapeutics’ RECONBioinformaticsThe engine selects up to 20 neoantigen-targeting peptides, designed to elicit anti-tumor immune responses and guide T cells to target the patient.Tumorspecific neoantigens in
