Shanghai, July 25, 2019 /PRNewswire/ -- A global leading technology companyMerck[Company Name] and Phanes Therapeutics, Inc. announced on July 24 that the two parties have formally signed a memorandum of cooperation to establish a close partnership for the development and manufacturing of biologics for the treatment of solid tumors.

Under this collaboration agreement, Merck will provide Phanes Therapeutics with BioReliance® End-to-End biologics development solutions, covering services from cell line development and process development to GMP manufacturing and commercialization. This includes the development and production of a bispecific antibody derived from Phanes Therapeutics’ proprietary bispecific antibody platform, which can simultaneously bind to two different targets or antigens on cancer cells for the treatment of solid tumors.

Leveraging over 30 years of global process development experience and a network of technical experts, Merck’s End-to-End bioprocess development team in Shanghai will work closely with global experts to ensure the rapid and efficient execution of projects.
