Zhitong Finance APP News: MicroPort (00853) announced that for the six months ended June 30, 2019, the Group's revenue was US$390 million, a year-on-year increase of 26.7%; gross profit was US$280 million, a year-on-year increase of 28.4%; profit attributable to equity shareholders was US$65.476 million, a year-on-year increase of 175.5%; and earnings per share were US$0.0415.

During the period, the cardiovascular interventional products business, the aortic and peripheral vascular interventional products business, and the neurointerventional products business segments experienced rapid growth, achieving revenue increases of 27.8%, 41.6%, and 57.9%, respectively, after excluding the impact of foreign exchange rate fluctuations. Upon completion of the acquisition of LivaNova PLC’s cardiac rhythm management business (the “Rhythm Management Business”), the financial results of the Rhythm Management Business have been consolidated into the Group’s comprehensive financial statements since April 30, 2018. For the period ended June 30, 2019, the Rhythm Management segment recorded revenue of USD 107 million, representing a year-over-year increase of 162.5% (excluding the impact of foreign exchange rate fluctuations) compared to the same period in 2018.
