Huamai Tech Showcases Innovative Aortic Stent Graft Systems at the 22nd China Beijing International High-Tech Expo

On October 24, the 22nd China Beijing International High-Tech Expo (hereinafter referred to as “Hi-Tech Expo”) was grandly held in Beijing. Themed “Promoting the Construction of a Science and Technology Innovation Center and Leading High-Quality Industrial Development,” this year’s Hi-Tech Expo focused on both domestic and international markets, addressed the global technological frontier, and highlighted key core technologies and innovative achievements. It is reported that Percutek Therapeutics is a high-end medical device R&D and manufacturing company, possessing globally leading technologies tailored to the characteristics of aortic dissection and aortic aneurysm in Chinese patients. The company is committed to building a platform-based innovative medical device enterprise, with cardiovascular minimally invasive products as its core business, starting from aortic stent grafts, aiming to become a domestic leader and an international first-class player.

At this exhibition, Percutek Therapeutics showcased two core products independently developed by the company: the Huamai® Tianzhuo® Abdominal Aortic Stent Graft System and the Huamai® Tianyi® Thoracic Aortic Stent Graft System. As a major support project of the Ministry of Science and Technology during the 12th Five-Year Plan period, the abdominal aortic stent graft is a national innovative product and the only product globally approved by the NMPA for treating large-angle complex abdominal aortic aneurysms. The thoracic aortic stent graft is a global first, specifically designed to address the high prevalence of aortic dissection aneurysms in China, filling a gap in the relevant treatment field.

During the product development process, Percutek Therapeutics selected the globally top-ranked product as the clinical control, adhering to the most stringent standards for design, research and development, and clinical trials. The company conducted patient follow-ups and re-examinations across China, with the entire process spanning seven years. Ultimately, Percutek successfully developed an aortic stent-graft product with internationally leading technology.

The launch of these two products has filled a gap in the domestic therapeutic landscape, spared patients the unnecessary expense of purchasing high-priced imports from Europe and the United States, avoided complications associated with the use of Western medical devices in Chinese patients, and built a bridge of life for numerous patients in China.
