虹桥进阶丨罗氏集团董事会副主席:在建造医院和医疗机构方面 望中国能够更开放

Shanghai Evening News (Chief Reporter Fang Xiang) – The 2nd Hongqiao International Economic Forum was held today at the National Exhibition and Convention Center (Shanghai). At the afternoon sub-forum titled “WTO Reform and Free Trade Agreements: Path Choices and Future Prospects,” André Hoffmann, representative of the founding family of Roche and Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Roche Group, stated, “As an entrepreneur, I note that my grandfather founded this company. Nineteen years ago, we entered the Chinese market, and our cooperation with China has been excellent. The WTO has provided a highly favorable environment that has facilitated international trade. We hope to see not only trade agreements but also greater emphasis on corporate profitability, particularly through the protection of intellectual property rights and patents. Switzerland signed a free trade agreement in 2014, committing to enhanced collaboration in innovation and offering more solutions. We provide solutions to China and are willing to offer new solutions to other countries as well. The WTO can help businesses achieve better development.”

André Hoffmann stated that we have also become China’s partner in the construction of hospitals and medical institutions, and we hope that China will be more open.
