AstraZeneca Partners with Sun Pharma to Commercialize RTU Oncology Portfolio in China

On November 6, AstraZeneca and Sun Pharmaceutical officially signed a cooperation agreement, under which AstraZeneca will be responsible for the introduction and promotion in China of multiple novel ready-to-use (RTU) injectable oncology products from Sun Pharmaceutical, bringing Chinese patients access to more high-quality medicines with superior cost-effectiveness.

Under the terms of the agreement, Sun Pharmaceutical will be responsible for the development, regulatory filing, and manufacturing of the products covered herein, while AstraZeneca will exclusively promote and distribute these products in China. The initial term of this agreement is 10 years, commencing from the date of the first commercial sale of the aforementioned products in China. The financial terms of this agreement are confidential.
