▋Former person in charge Wang Mingxin left his post in October

As previously reported by Dami, Novartis Oncology originally had two business units in China: the Hematology & Rare Diseases Division and the Solid Tumors Division. Since 2016, Wang Mingxin has been leading the Hematology & Rare Diseases Division of Novartis Oncology (China). In early July this year, Novartis Oncology (China) announced that Wang Mingxin would be reassigned as the Head of Business Development and Licensing (BD&L), with no successor announced at the time.

Subsequently, Novartis Oncology announced a new organizational structure, with HEMA and RARE operating as fully separate lines. Novartis Oncology’s business in China is now divided into three teams: Hematologic Malignancies, Rare Diseases, and Solid Tumors.

On October 18 this year, Novartis Oncology (China) announced that Wang Mingxin had decided to leave Novartis to pursue external opportunities.
