HeartCare Medical's Intracranial Intermediate Catheter and Dedicated Stent Microcatheter Receive Market Approval

Recently, the extraflex Distal Access Guide Catheter and SUPSELEK Microcatheter, developed by Shanghai HeartCare Medical Technology Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “HeartCare”), a company based in Zhangjiang Science City, were officially approved for market launch.

HeartCare was established in 2016, focusing on the development and industrialization of new minimally invasive interventional technologies for the prevention and treatment of stroke. Currently, the company has secured approval for the Shanghai Strategic Emerging Industry Major Special Project—Research and Development and Industrialization of Stroke Interventional Products. It has established a precision stent processing technology platform, a precision braided catheter technology platform, and multiple balloon catheter technology platforms.

The recently approved extraflex distal access guide catheter and SUPSELEK microcatheter belong to HeartCare’s “Stroke Access” product line, one of the company’s four major prevention-and-treatment product portfolios. Subsequently, HeartCare’s “Acute Stroke Thrombectomy,” “Stroke Prevention,” and “Stroke Stenosis” product lines will be launched in succession.
