The shipment includes urgently needed protective items such as disposable medical surgical masks, protective suits, and goggles. These supplies will be promptly forwarded to hospitals in Wuhan and other regions severely affected by the outbreak. In the coming days, additional epidemic prevention materials, including N95 masks, isolation gowns, and medical pulse oximeters, are expected to arrive in Shanghai in succession, contributing to the effort to win the battle against the epidemic.

As the novel coronavirus outbreak struck and a nationwide call for compassionate action was issued, Boston Scientific employees, known for their boundless love, swiftly mobilized. Although Boston Scientific does not manufacture medical protective supplies and thus could not immediately donate such items to frontline healthcare workers, the company promptly activated its emergency response mechanism. Transcending geographical boundaries and time zones, it tirelessly sought relevant supplies across global markets. Members of the Epidemic Emergency Response Team worked around the clock to procure anti-epidemic materials—including N95 respirators, disposable surgical masks, protective gowns, goggles, and disposable surgical gloves—from the United States, Brazil, Japan, Australia, Thailand, and other regions. These efforts aimed to safeguard the lives and well-being of the “white-clad warriors” on the frontlines of the pandemic.
